Our previous dog Duke (a weim) would stand up and nose the water and drink it! I always had a huge puddle on the floor!

My sister's dog used lay on the floor with her nose under the hutch (if one of her toys went under there) and wait for someone to help her. She fell asleep that way a couple times! LOL! They can be quite patient animals, can't they?
She'd LOVE Fisherhubby - - - he INSISTS on getting chipped ice, and it spits pieces ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!
At least that is a treat you don't have to buy, she must of been hot/thirsty.

Skye is very smart! I once had a cat who would push the water dispenser lever with her paw while drinking right out of the tap. It was very funny.

Glad our dog isn't the only one...our Westie hears the ice and will come running from anywhere in the house. Skye is so cute!

That is so adorable. I had a cat that would scratch at the frigerator for fresh turkey. She'd smell it if it was like a day or so old, she'd turn away.

That is so funny!
It is weird to me that dogs like ice. My dog likes it too but she gets it because one of the kids misses getting all the ice out of the dispenser and one or two pieces inevitably falls on the floor.
