what Skye did on her birthday here are a few pictures. She really loves to spend time outside. She loves to pounce in the flowers and chase the crickets. Did get a bee sting the other day and I know that she knows better than that but they are so much fun to play with! I am trying to be less worried about all the dangerous things that can happen to her or that she could dig her way out! So I have been letting her outside without me (leashed at night with us) to explore but I take my computer to the table and watch her from the sliding glass door. I try to tell myself that it is safe outside, I look to make sure that no hawks are flying about and tell myself that the snakes are very rare!

When I don't hear her ringing her bell to go outside she will run into my office and really pounce on me. So I will get up and say "show me what you want" and she will usually take me to the back door to go out but she surprised me the other day. She took me over the one of the bottom drawers in the kitchen which hold her items and has her rawhide treats inside. Yep that is what she wanted!

I used to be that protective about my kitties, but after I had Ethan, my focus changed. I let them outside, and they loved it.

Skye is beautiful... what a sweet companion. I just dropped my fuzzy little Butterbean off at the groomer's this morning... he should sleep the rest of the day. For some reason, that really tires him out. :-)
