So sorry you lost power! That really bites! We were sure we were going to lose ours and had the generator ready to go but it never did. Guess it was because we were ready this time. Love your tree and so glad you are all safe.
I'm with you on the malls ... I'm not a mall person either.Hopefully you're all done losing power (it's NOT fun!). Wishing you a blessed week leading up to the New Year.
I hit the mall as well, and really wish I didn't. Way to busy after Christmas. I'm loving all your gifts, especially the Starbucks ornament!!
You've made me want to photograph my gifts too; might help me keep track of what all I got so I can send thank you notes!
Sorry the power went out but I am glad you had a place to hang out.. I got Sex in the City 2 also. I still have not seen it.. I hope to soon.. Have a great day.. Happy New Year..
To bad about the power, but it's nice to see you had such a nice Christmas.
aww the presents look so creative! and Skye looks mighty satisfied too! I hope you had a wonderful christmass xoxoxo
Never ever turn down an opportunity to visit the mall!!PS - poor skye!!
Oh Goodness hate you lost power :(, the mall is always fun to go walk around. Now to have extra cash and do it and I could be dangerous ... lolLOVE the smore hunter ornament! Had to look up what KIVA. What a GREAT way to help others!!P.S. You're too sweet with the check, you didn't have to do that. IT didn't put me out at all it made for a funny story to tell Rick. HUGS!!!
We lost power for a bit yesterday, it was beyond frustrating!
sounds like you made the best of the power going out. I need to do thank you cards myself. I want a starbucks ornament. they are so cute!

OK someone please explain the soap gun to me? what the heck? LOL LOL!I could make so many dirty jokes here but I'll refrain :-DSkye is ab-fab, love how doggies are little angels after partying... did she eat any peppermint bark?OK bad joke. Woof! :-D
Deb, how funny! I hardly ever go to the mall, either. Plus, we just have the regular old JCPenney, Dillards, and Sears...That picture of Skye with her toys is great! Bella hates her toys. She's a fairly boring dog. :( Has it been raining there? Hey, Happy New Year!
Im sure skye never even noticed the lights going out
I can't stand not having power tha's why we had a generator installed which powers the whole house 5 seconds after power goes out. Looks like you made the best of it though. Love the presents!....Christine
Sorry to hear about the power but glad you had a great Christmas.Great pics
You Sis are just busy busy busy... And it sure shows in Sweet Skye.. Soooo neat of you to stop by my BLUE post yesterday and sorry for the late visit. With our boys home for the Christmas break, well, it gets a tad bit WILD here sometimes. LOVE your post and, its such a JOY to my heart that God has blessed me with such special ladies like you, visiting my blogs...May God continue to bless you as you call on Him~~~Hugs DenaPS: Thanks soooo much for always visiting my posts...
We haven't lost power in forever. But going to the mall sounds like a fun way to pass the time!Great Christmas gifts.
Sounsd like a good day, even though you didn't have power for most of it. I bought two new calendars yesterday and started working on them... I love having a blank slate to start the new year!
I love to go to the mall when you can just amble along with no particular mission. Sometimes you can find some real treasures that way! When I go one vacation or a special trip, I always make a pic of the 'treasures' I bring home as I am unpacking my suitcases. Then I never forget what I brought home. Cause, you know...it gets kind of hard to remember everything...at least it is for me!
Looks like you are finding plenty to keep you busy when the power is out. I hte it when it goes on and off.
I tried to go to the mall on Tuesday and we couldn't even find a place to park. Literally every space was taken and there was bumper to bumper traffic trying to find a spot so we just left... I'm hoping to go first thing on Friday... I want a mac! ;-)Hugs-Lps. LOVE the gift pics- but especially your favorite gift... Skye- asleep with all those presents! Adorable!
I avoid the mall most of the time, too, but found myself there frequently this holiday season because our 14-year-old granddaughter is spending so much time with us. My favorite thing to do while she was cruising the stores with her friends was to get a mocha coffee and sit in a busy area with the crowds flowing around me. Considering all the noise and people, it was pretty peaceful just sitting there thinking. My grandma used to call this "people watching" as in 'We went down to The Walmart and ate popcorn while we people watched.' =D
