I'm always so surprised by how many there are. It's quite touching to see it all compiled this way.
When I watched it - I knew some not others - and surprised by some. I think about all the big stars and all the money in the world can't save you from death.I don't mean to sound morbid - but it is true isn't it?
What a great clip. I knew some of them had died, but others I did not. Thanks for sharing.
So sad...Dick Clark as far as I can remember back did the New Year thing...it will never be the same.Great losses...
Debby, It always surprises me too, because I forget about some of them. I loved that they had Marvin's song playing background. My big plan after moving here was to stalk these award shows, but I'm glad I was unable to last night because it was so hot there. I will wait until the Golden Globes and Oscars to make my attempt! I have always wanted to do it and now I have the opportunity! Ann
It always surprises me and makes me sad. I didn't even know Phyllis Diller, Heavy D and Donna Summer passed :(. Very sad.
It's always so sad when you see that icons you've taken for granted as always being around, turn out to be human and pass away. What a beautiful clip honoring those we've lost!
I didn't watch the show, but that is so very touching! It's sometimes hard to believe so many are gone!
That was a very nice tribute. Those were some awesome people who gave a lot to entertainment.
so sad...I didn't realize some of them had passed away...
So glad you showed this I has not idea some of these has died.
That is really sad, Debby. I have so many uncles and aunts and even cousins passing away now too. I guess I am getting old....Christine
There were some I didn't realize had passed. So many stars we grew up with no longer here. It is always touching to see who is no longer with us. thanks for sharing Debbybetty
Wow! I had no idea that some of them had passed away. I loved Chad Everett when I was a girl. He was the "older man" crush. Phyllis Diller was hilarious! So sad.
Very nicely done! Does make me feel a bit old! :-) Sorry you have been down...hope your heart is brighter today! :-)
It always suprises me too. When they play that part of show it always leaves me with a lump in my throat.Blessings, Joanne
I knew Celeste Holm had passed away: I loved her, she always looked so friendly and funny. Even in the older films. I was shocked to see Harry Morgan (Colonel Potter) had passed away. I hadn't heard that.
Wow! So many!
This was a real tear-jerker for me.
I saw the same video and commented that it feels like a large chunk of my childhood died this year - Andy Griffith, Andy Williams, Don Grady (from My 3 Sons), Mr. Drucker from Green Acres, and so many more.
