On April 27th I went to see The Huntsman:Winter's War. I have to say that I really enjoyed this movie. I found it to be very entertaining. I did not see the prequel Snow White and the Huntsman but I hope to watch it soon.
"Eric and fellow warrior Sara, raised as members of ice Queen Freya's army, try to conceal their forbidden love as they fight to survive the wicked intentions of both Freya and her sister Ravenna."
Then on May 3rd I went to see the move Mother's Day. What a great cast of people! I liked it and wouldn't mind seeing it again. I'm sure I will buy it on DVD.
It is a Gary Marshall movie and there are two other movies that he made called Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. I own both of them. It is an ensemble cast and their stories intertwine in the movie.
"Three generations come together in the week leading up to Mother's Day."
Yesterday I went to see Mothers and Daughters. I liked this movie. It was a rather simple movie with a great cast. It definitely had its share of emotional moments.
It centered around adoption, lies, abortion, drugs and the role that mother's play in our lives. It was about forgiveness which is never easy. Mother's are human and make mistakes. Those mistakes often haunt them for the rest of their lives.
"Interwoven stories of what it is to be a mom seen through the lens of photographer Rigby Gray."
Wishing a Happy Birthday to my brother in law Bob today! Love you and hope to see you soon. Enjoy your trip to London/Paris with your granddaughter Amanda.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend......
