Wouldn't mind being at a cabin with some snow for Christmas! Of course living in Southern California it's always pretty nice.

I don't really have a favorite holidy weather but I always prefer sunshine. I do like your idea of being in a cabin though. Of course I would have to be allowed to stay there until all snow was gone and I could just enjoy the snow fall from the cabin windows...lol

ReplyDeleteYour Pecan Tassies look delicious. One of our family's favorites is my sister's recipe for Pecan Pie Muffins. And yes, Christmas in a snow-covered cabin would be divine, but I think I will be happy to settle for a lovely snow-covered house at the end of a cul-de-sac with lots of food, fun and loving. But, then again, it might be hard to compete with your California weather and view.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite holiday but my mother was all about Christmas! but then she was about any and all holidays... she loved to bake and cook and decorate and light candles and on an on... I don't bake or make desserts but I do love any made by others. my favorite weather for any day at all is our Florida Winter Weather. I would love to have it year round on all holidays
ReplyDeleteHAHA...yep I think it would be really funny if you got that snow in S. Calif. Although a few yrs ago my son in La Mesa called to tell me that there were flurries on New years eve....I was shocked. He was so excited.
