*If you're answering today from the southern hemisphere feel free to sub spring for the word fall.
No, it doesn't feel like Fall at all yet. Honestly I can't think of anything we do unless we travel to Montana but as you know, Amber and Dylan will be traveling here soon.
2. What's a small daily task or chore that always seems to fall through the cracks when your schedule gets busy?
I can't think of anything, but several things can fall through the cracks when my COPD is acting up.
3. What's something you're falling for lately?
Mark picked up a large box of ice cream bars at Costco and I can't seem to stay away from them.
4. Pumpkin is a popular flavor this time of year. Are you a fan? What's your favorite pumpkin flavored food or beverage?
I wouldn't mind having something with pumpkin flavor but I haven't had anything yet. I'm going with pumpkin pie as my favorite food.
5. What's something you wish would never change? Explain.
Maybe daylight savings time. I think it should stay the same all year.
I wish James could be like he is at his age right now but of course he has to grow up.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I've been working on cleaning the house for Amber and Dylan's visit. They arrive on Wednesday the 30th. They will be here for six nights.
We will see Adam, Gabby and James on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. James will be spending Saturday evening here with us. I can't wait.
We did see Adam, Gabby and James last Friday and had a nice evening. We even played bunko and Sorry.

Oh how wonderful that your kids are coming and will be with you for a week. That's just great!! I know you will all have a wonderful time. Just don't overdo it trying to get ready for them...pace yourself...do what you can, but don't wear yourself out so you can't enjoy your company! That's my problem...I try to do too much and then I'm worn out by the time company gets here.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've had some wonderful times with James and family and more to come! What a blessing. Take care and enjoy your family! God is good!
I'm so excited for you, Debby! It will be wonderful to have your family with you for six days. I can't wait to hear about the fun things I know you all will do. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI so understangrowing upd what you mean about James growing up! Time is a thief, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to enjoy some pumpkin pie soon!
I'M WONDERING IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME. ME COMMENTS ARE ALL GOING INTO SOCIAL AND NOT PRIMARY. I CAN READ THEM BUT THIS NEVER HAPPEN BEFORE. DEBBY
ReplyDeleteThe countdown is really on Debby.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your family time.
Oh, I agree about the time change, just pick one and leave it. ;-)
Yup, I'm right there with you...keep standard time year around. Its too dark in the mornings and gets dark so, so early.
ReplyDeleteLove pumpkin pie too. I almost bought one at Costco the other day. You can't beat the price $5.99 for a 12 inch pie. That's a whole lot of pie !!!
So excited for you and the family coming to visit. Just pace your self and its all about the people you love and not a few dust bunnies in the rooms.
(((hugs)))
Sue
I feel like the time change debate just goes on and on and nothing is ever decided. While I don't like the early darkness, there is something about it that suits this time of year and makes it feel cozy. I'm sure you're counting the days until family time : )
ReplyDeleteI know you are excited for Amber and Dylan to arrive and spend time with them. Glad they can come. That's the most motivating thing for me to get things done around the house that I put off. Happy Fall to you.
ReplyDeleteHello! How exciting! Family time! Happy fall. It is finally cozy and cool here in Maryland.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how excited you are for Amber and Dylans visit. So happy they will be there.
ReplyDeleteI like pumpkin flavored things. I bought a bag of pumpkin donuts and they are so yumy.
I know you are excited about the kids coming and your birthday. I love that they are coming. I LOVE pumpkin pie. And there is one ice cream that I can't think of the name of that is delicious. Know you had fun with James too. Family makes such a difference. It turned to fall like temps overnight here - but I don't know about tomorrow. lol
ReplyDeleteI’m so glad Amber and Dylan are coming! And that James lives so close. 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit. When our loved ones live far away those visits are most precious. ENJOY!
