2. Where are you in your family birth order? Do you fit the stereotype of that particular slot? In what way?
I was the last one born, the baby of the family. I don't know how I fit in. There was a quiz yesterday on WebMD about that but I haven't been able to take it yet. I guess I was spoiled.
3. What motivates you more-a reward or a consequence? Elaborate.
Interesting question which I really don't have an answer for. I am guessing the consequence would motivate me more than a reward.
4. May 14th is National Buttermilk Biscuit Day. Who thinks biscuits deserve their own day? Do you like biscuits? Make your own? Grab one for breakfast at a drive-through now and then? Which drive-through makes the one you like best? What do you like to put on a biscuit? What's your favorite food or dish that calls for buttermilk?
I guess I like biscuits but don't have them often. I do not make my own. The only drive through that we like is McDonald's Sausage Egg McMuffin with cheese. I do not have a recipe that uses buttermilk.
5. Are there any weddings on your summer calendar? What's your favorite part of a wedding/wedding reception?
No there are not any weddings on my calendar. The wedding itself is always lovely to watch and the reception is awesome too. Also enjoy the food but I don't care to dance.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
So sorry to hear about the COPD. We've all got something bringing our health down don't we.
ReplyDeleteJames is a doll. What an award winning smile. 💙
I definitely don't have the energy I had even ten years ago. I can go go go but then I need a day off, a nap, and nothing on the calendar. James is so handsome. I'm glad you had a happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteyou trumped my mothers day, I got a text and a phone call from my 2 sons. I have never met a biscuit I don't like/love. my favorite biscuits bought out are Kentucky fried Chicken biscuits. home made fluffy biscuits are my most favorite of all. also love Golden Corral but they only do breakfast on Sat/Sunday and used to open at 7 and now they don't open until 9. we get up at 4 and can't wait until 9 for breakfast. I did a short post a few weeks ago about my aging has lost me my OCD self, and now it is even worse. I have another one in drafts.
ReplyDeleteLove James in his Montana shirt. Love the photo of your family. You are a cutie that picture!
ReplyDeleteLots of nice things for mother's day! My family took me to eat but even then, I had to make that choice. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteJust look at that Mother's Day 'loot' ... you are so well-loved! For the first time, I'm seeing a lot of Adam in James' photo.
ReplyDeleteJames is so cute! Looks like you had a nice Mother's Day. I understand what you mean about the OCD. I have ADHD and for years I was on meds for depression and that helped parts of the ADHD. I got off the meds for depression because I was able to, and some of the ADHD things are bugging me again. But I would rather deal with that than the depression. The thing that gets me through it all is my faith and being active with my family and friends. I know that it is hard for you to do things with your COPD. I will keep you in prayer.
ReplyDeletePretty cards and See's candy is always so yummy.
ReplyDeleteI was the last born too but Couldn't say if I fit the stereotype or not
So many gifts! And a beautiful kitchen. 😊
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the answers, I'm craving nice flaky biscuits.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute Montana shirt on a cute boy! Looks like you had nice greetings and gifts for Mother's day. Now pass me a See's please. :)
ReplyDeleteJames is so darned cute, he could be a model! Any thoughts by his parents about that?
ReplyDeleteGreat answers today, Debby. Blessings!
It sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend... I'm happy for you. It's fun to watch James grow, and to see his smiling face.
ReplyDeleteHi Debby, I am catching up. I love the photos of your mom!! Her wedding dress is lovely. She has a great smile.
ReplyDeleteI used one of Sam's Montana T-shirts on his memory T-Shirt quilt. It was from Glacier Park.

ReplyDeleteNot much impresses me, I am the first born and pretty much the stereotype first born and no bloody idea what motivates me, never given it any thought.
When a moment of happiness takes you by surprise, enjoy it and old on to it in your memory.
Hope you’re well. Thinking of you. I’m working on a project. I’m wondering if you’d be willing to help.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers. I'll have to look for that quiz, it would be interesting to take.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, James is just adorable!
