2. 'Beware the Ides of March'...March 15th on the ancient Roman calendar, these words were made famous by William Shakespeare in his play Julius Caesar. Caesar was assassinated on March 15th 44 B.C. Have you read any Shakespeare? If so, do you have a favorite? Have you ever been to Rome?
I really haven't read William Shakespeare unless I had to in school. I have not been to Rome.
3. Do you like a Caesar salad? If given the choice between a garden/house salad or Caesar which do you order? Anchovies or no? What's your favorite salad dressing?
Yes, I enjoy a Caesar salad. I'm not sure which I would order but maybe I would pick a Caesar. No anchovies.
I like ranch dressing and we usually have Caesar dressing, Balsamic Vinaigrette along with Thousand Island in the house which I like on a burger.
4. Where do you typically work (or blog if that's easier) at home? Do you have a dedicated home office space? Are you happy with that space?
For some reason I like my Chromebook on the kitchen table but I do have a desk in my office. Right now I have an old Toshiba computer sitting there. It still works but hasn't had any updates in years. I like sitting at the table and I have a nice view outside from there.
5. Snow drops, daffodils, lenten roses, crocus, hyacinth, or early tulips...what's your favorite early Spring flower?
I will go with tulips but we don't have any growing in our yard. I would also like daffodils. We have several bushes planted that get little flowers on them which are nice. My favorites are our Bird of Paradise.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
So on Friday night, Mark, Adam, Gabby and James went to a hockey game. Gabby was given 4 tickets and because of my ankle, it would have been difficult for me to go anyway with all of the walking. However, I stayed at their house with the dogs. I didn't feel like sitting at home and at least I could see all of them. They had a great time.

Hyacinth are my favorite spring flower. I love their scent.
Way to go James. Good job on scoring the first goal and getting an award.
James is not only cute but Smart! I love our blooming weeds now, they look like tiny daisies. your bird of paradise plants are beautiful. I do not trust most people, and I blog with my laptop on my lap, on the sofas
The birds of paradise are beautiful. Oh your view Debby, it is so pretty.
Thank you for sharing James with us.

I love daffodils in the spring, Debby. Looks like your crew had a blast at the game, too. What a lovely family you have and James always takes the cake. Blessings!
James really is something! You are so blessed, Debby
Thousand Island on a burger? Now that sounds interesting! I will have to give a try. Enjoyed your post today!
I love Bird of Paradise and yours are so pretty. I don't see them here. I think our winters are too cold. I'm glad James is thriving and enjoying soccer. Have a nice day Debby!
Great answers to the hodgepodge. Sorry your ankle is still giving you fits but I'm glad you could stay at James' home so you could see them a bit.
I am afraid that I am too trusting and sometimes ignore my gut feelings.
I enjoyed some of Shakespeare in high school. I had a terrific senior English teacher that made his works come alive. Our class even went to San Francisco to see the play of A Midsummer Night's Dream with Bert Laher sp?.
My girlfriend and I went to the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland Oregon between high school and College. Live theater makes everything more understandable and interesting.

Oh, I love seeing the photos of James and family at the hockey game, and also his soccer game! Good for him! Also great about the award at school! He's a very bright little boy!! I'm sorry you couldn't go with them, but it sounds like you made the right choice. Oh, I don't often see bird of paradise flowers! They are so unique. We can't grow daffodils here in Florida. They need colder weather. It's 90 degrees here today, but will get cold again next week...40's-50's again! Wow. Take care and have a blessed rest of your week.
Congrats to James on the award and the game.
No anchovies for me either - yuck.
I am glad you went over and stayed with the dogs and not alone.
In that photo of James and his mom - I can see Gabby in him.
Is the table in the kitchen a comfortable place for you to use your Chromebook. I hope it doesn't bother your back and legs????
Daffodils for me! Congratulations, James!
Congratulations to your James! His is sure a good-looking family.
I like Caesar salads every once in a while. Usually it's a green-leaf assortment drizzled with my fav combo -- garlic olive oil and Marie's bleu cheese.
