KEEPING YOU INFORMED

Wanted to let you know that I am getting better. Went to the doctor yesterday, actually had a well visit scheduled to get my yearly mail in prescriptions. He gave me Zithromax which usually helps. (Hospital only gave me Amocicillin which isn't strong enough for my needs) Even though I want to get busy I am forcing myself to rest :( Didn't go to bowling today either :( I hate the fact that I lost a week but I am thankful to be feeling better. Also want to send kisses to my husband who took me to my appointment yesterday and did all the laundry on Sunday after we came home from the ER.

FORGOT TO POST THIS BACK ON DECEMBER 30TH
For those of you who don't know this my husband and I were avid movie goers. He use to work from home and I worked part time at Hallmark so it was very convenient for us to go to the movies. We would go at least once a week and often more than that. Since he hasn't worked from home for several years now we have kind of gotten away from going. (We don't like crowds, we only liked the almost private matinees)I keep telling myself that I should go once a week but then here I sit at my computer.

When I was young my father was the manager of a movie theatre. That's how I grew up, went to the movies all the time. Academy Award night was a big deal and it was pizza night! I have carried that tradition on with my children. Most years in the past I was prepared for that night but the last few years I have barely seen any of the movies. Now don't get me wrong, we still watch lots of movies only we see them at home with NetFlix. Academy Award night is still one of my most favorite days of the year. I CAN'T WAIT!

So we actually went twice to the movies over the holidays and it was so much fun. We saw 2012 and Avatar. Both very good with constant action. Had some wonderful popcorn too!!!

Also, for those of you that are huge TWILIGHT fans, and I know from reading the blogs over the last few months that many of your are, I finally saw Twilight. Actually my husband watched it with me at we are very close to seeing New Moon in the theatre!!! How do you like those apples?

Missed you today but glad you're on the mend. We won 3 (somehow!) but I did awful the first 2 games. (Like, didn't break 100 the first game. Ugh.) See you next week!

I'm so glad your feeling better. Hubby and I too love the movies. Not only does it get this Ozarks farm chick off the Ponderosa, it takes us into other lands and worlds for a couple of hours. Take care of yourself.

Have a fantastic day and may God bless Ya'll!!!

We went to the movies over the holidays too. We saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks-the Squekwel." SUPER CUTE!!! Coby (my 3 year old) favorite part is "shake what your momma gave you!" It's hilarious!

I'm so glad you're coming back around from that illness! It really got you this time!

My hubs and I used to see every single movie that was released. Sometimes we'd piggyback them. We'd come out of one and go right into another one. We were maniacs!

I too love going to the movies. It gives us a chance to escape life for a few hours at a time and lose ourselves in a different time. I want to get there this weekend to catch Leap Year with my hubby and maybe catch another viewing of New Moon.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

LOL I love those apples! I think that is the coolest tradition to carry on with your kids! I love movies I miss going. We too have the delivery to the house via DVD, it's awesome only way I keep current with movies ... :)

I'm so glad you're feeling better and the doctor gave you something stronger. You take your time, the shorter time you take a break the better because if you didn't you be out a LONG time.

Much love

I am glad that you are feeling better. I do not go out to see movies very often. We watch them at home usually. I like to get out and go to the theatre some times though. It is a nice experience.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Debby. I don't like watching movies in theater, I only watch at home using Netflix also. Isn't it convenient? Hope the year gets healthier for you from here on....Christine

So glad you are feeling better. What a relief. I usually don't go to the movies because we've got every movie channel ever made on our TV -lol but this past year I did go a few times. New Moon is very very good - so much better than the original Twilight. I want to see Sherlock Holmes. Maybe this weekend!

Glad you're feeling better!

We have never been big movie goers. I've had Netflix for years and we still sometimes have one of those little red envelopes sitting for weeks.

We might go to the movies once or twice a year. Well, a few weeks ago I went to the movies alone. And I loved it! Went to see the Michael Jackson movie on one afternoon before Thanksgiving because I thought it was going away and really wanted to see it.

I told myself I would movie alone again soon but haven't yet. I've heard Avatar is great. Don't now if 2012 is my type of movie but maybe.

Thanks for the reviews!
