Before I tell you what happened on January 28th I will share some other news first. I'm going to leave out their names to protect them from a Google search.
So our son started interviewing for an excellent position at a very prominent hospital in Southern California back in early November. He meet with 7 different people on two occasions and then a few more people after those interviews.
Just a few days before his birthday on January 20th he got the news that they were going to make him an offer. He had previously worked for UCL and Cedars Sinai with their Ethics Boards. This position is above his last position which is exactly what he has been looking for.
He got the job and he starts on Monday. They met his last salary plus they gave him a 5% increase along with 4 weeks vacation. We are so proud of him.
I can't remember if I told you that he is moving in with his girlfriend and that they plan to buy a house together. I found that out when we celebrated his birthday on Saturday the 21st the day before I left for Florida to be with my dad.
A week ago Friday they went to Cancun for a 5 night stay before he had to enter the work force again. Well little did we know that they would get engaged while they were there! That was on January 28th and we couldn't be happier for the two of them.......
We had dinner out with them on Friday night to celebrate this moment in their lives. We were joined by her mother and her younger sister. It was a beautiful evening.......
