1. Who is your oldest friend/ how did you meet?
I have a few friends that I would put in this category. Shirley who was my next door neighbor growing up. Also Diane and Sherry who I knew through grade school and high school. We have a 50th HS reunion coming up this year.
2. Tell us about circle of support. Who are your people?
That would be my friend Kendra from bowling and also Betty, Ann, Sandie, Sandra, Amy and Alexis from blogging along with a few other's.
3. How did you meet your partner?
We meet in High School. Dated for a few months at one point but then we just hung with the same friends. It wasn't until after graduation that we started dating again.
4. How is Valentine's Day celebrated in your home?
Most of the time we will go out to eat prior to Valentine's day because of the crowds on that day. We have also had dinner at home a few times. We usually exchange cards and small gifts like candy.
5. What is your love language?
I wasn't sure what this meant so I Googled it here! I definitely like to give "Words of Affirmation" and I think "Quality Time" for us would be being going to the show or watching some TV programs together.
6. Do you prefer receiving flowers or chocolate?
A few years ago I would have said both but now I will say chocolate. Flowers die and are a waste of money. I have asked for a house plant over the years, however I would like to receive flowers every once in awhile on just a random day!
7. What is the most meaningful gift you have ever received or have given?
Sorry, nothing is coming to mind but I will share this: Mark and I were divorced and separated for six years back in the 80's. When we were getting back together he did say something to me that I loved and was very meaningful to me. He said "When I would dream about my future it was always you who was standing next to me."
