So I have a routine when I dust. I start in the family room dusting the cocktail table, end tables and the hutch with my Jim Shore pieces. Then I move on to the living room, dinning room and Mark's office. I usually do our bedroom and my office on another day. It's all too much for one day. Well I'm not sure what happened on Friday but it was not my day to dust!
Remember I was home alone all week. I think the quiet got to me! Anyway I started dusting my Willow Tree collection and all hell broke lose. Since I have a smart phone it makes it really easy to share moments like this on Facebook. Take the picture, link it up and say a few words. I really do enjoy Facebook when I travel. Okay back to my story. This is what I posted on Facebook:
"Not my day for dusting. LOL...I knocked my pregnant Willow Tree lady over too and I told her I was very sorry. Guess this quiet house is going to my head. I'm talking to my Willow Tree figurines now! Okay off to the hospital with the tea pot lady.......I'll keep you posted!"
"Honestly I have to stop dusting, I did it again only this time his hand flew behind the buffet which I can't move! By some miracle it happen with such speed that his hand actually ended up near the front underneath."
"Okay, teapot lady doing well
and little boy is all stitched up and resting comfortably."
Decided to stop dusting and start vacuuming. Before I vacuumed the family room I decided to bowl on Wii. Well it wasn't my day for that either. I'm still a pro according to them but I think they may take my pretty shiny ball away soon!
I was just about ready to start vacuuming and the phone rang. It was Mark and I said where are you? On my way home from the airport. What???? I thought you got in at noon? That is what he thought but he was wrong. I said I'm not done cleaning and haven't showered yet. (That was my goal before he came home) He said you want me to go somewhere for 30 extra minutes? No! So I jumped in the shower and remembered that I better thank God for bringing him home safe to me.
On another subject.....in all the crazy traffic last Tuesday driving to bowling I did see this. Guess God was giving me a sign to keep on going.........
(yes traffic was stopped or I never would have taken this photo)
Mark was in Seattle this week and happened to come by a Polish Pottery store and bought me these S & P shakers. Thanks honey!
Obviously my day did get better.....
and I'm not home alone anymore.
