I received the Stylish Blogger Award from Butterfly Flutter-Isaiah 40:31. Thank you so much. I always feel very honored when people pass awards on to me. Head on over to Butterfly Flutter, say a big HELLO and check out the seven things about her!Even though I have read the Bible I am not very good at retaining things in my brain. (I think that's why I can watch movies over and over and over and over again. I actually see things I never saw before even after 30 times!) So I thought I would look up the verse in the name of her blog and share it with you.
You ready for seven more things about Debby?
- I am usually up by seven each morning.
- I usually don't take a shower until 2 or 3 pm.
- If we would have had more children their names would have been: Girl~Crystal and Boy~Blake. People always thought we got those name from the show Dynasty but we never even watched that show.
- I am enjoying the new show on the OWN channel called "Enough Already! w/Peter Walsh" which is about clutter in our homes. It makes me feel good to know that I don't even have 10% of the clutter they have! They actually get to keep only 10%.
- It's official, I have absolutely no desire to ever clean my house. I'M DONE!
- I know that my posts are not perfect, I am sure you find mistakes, but I have really learned how to spell better since I started blogging. I use to always have a dictionary next to me. Now on the rare occasion I need to double check what I typed I just type the word in the google search space to see how it's spelled. I don't search it but it will show you the correct spelling as your typing it in that space.
- We sleep with a sound machine at night. When DH traveled I wouldn't use it because I wanted to hear if anyone was in the house but since the kids have lived here I will use it when he is gone. It keeps Skye from hearing them walk into the kitchen for an evening snack!

Congrats on the award! Feels good doesn't it? Get up at 7am! Boy you sleep in don't you (he..he) I'm up and moving by 5 or 5:30. If I do sleep till 7, it's because I'm sick!
I do the same with google as a spell check! I'm reading 'The Story' right now which is a narrative form of the bible. Much easier to get through some of those books in the beginning that were so tough...

I use Firefox for my browser, and it was a spell-check built in ... so I can catch my misspellings/typos before I hit the publish button. Whew!

I can't get my butt out of bed before 8am no matter how early lights out was the night before. How do you do it!
Debby, please don't tell the producers of that "Enough Already" show about me! We sleep with a air cleaning machine on every night. Now, I can't sleep without that background noise. I have to use it even when my husband is gone overnight (I guess somebody can just come in my house and I wouldn't know it until it was too late!) I have to take a little fan with me if I'm staying overnight some place. laurie
I sleep with a sound machine, too - it really helps.
I have to take my showers at night when the kids are here because they hog the bathroom in the mornings before school!

As for me, I have to play relaxing worship music when I go to bed, because hubby works 3rd shift, and when he's gone I hear every little noise, and I freak out...
I think I should look into a sound machine...my Hubbys snoring is making me crazy!

Hi, I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the sweet comments you've left on my blog since Brad's been sick. I'm happy to report that he's home tonight, although I'm not sure he should be. I have him here at the house keeping a close eye on him.

Oh, we sleep with a white noise machine too and it travels with us too. :o)

Congrats on your award. I'm a great speller but still write my posts in word just to help with my poor grammer!
I do that exact same thing to correct my spelling - but not usually on my blog as my spell check usually catches it - usually.
I usually don't have any desire to clean my house either. Thank goodness God blessed me with a husband that does housework!!!
