2. Do you think luck plays a part in your life? Explain.
Sometimes I feel that it is luck but it truly has to be faith.
3. Of the 15 green foods listed, which one is your favorite and how do you like it prepared? Any on the list that are a hard no for you? In general do you like fruits and veggies? As a kid did you eat them willingly or did you hide peas in your napkin hoping your momma wouldn't see?
4. What's something that makes you 'turn green'? (with envy or with illness... whichever way you want to run with it)
Nothing is coming to mind.
5. Did you spend a lot of time outdoors as a child? Doing what? Do you spend a lot of time outdoors now? Doing what?
Yes, we played outside all of the time. Riding bikes, playing hide and seek, jumping in piles of leaves, going to the forest preserve, playing flash light tag at night. The list is endless.
No, I do not spend a lot of time outside but sometimes we will sit out in the backyard and have a glass of wine. Mark is in the yard all day long working on things.

I really don't like sharing all this stuff all the time but my life is a crazy mess right now and it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.
My right eye cataract surgery went well. I can see the TV again without distance glasses. The left eye will be done on April 3rd followed by a check up the next day.
Sadly, my important shots in my back and spine from the surgery center from pain management were cancelled last Friday. The surgeon did not want to make me lay on the table 3 days after my cataract surgery. I was so disappointed. Next available appointment is May 9th!!!!!!!
I did see the ankle doctor finally on Monday. He was an extremely nice doctor. According to my x-ray, the only procedure for my issue is an ankle fusion. That mean that they fuse your bones together and you will no longer be able to bend your ankle.
He said to me "If you were my mother I would tell you to never get that surgery!" It is a four month recovery with extreme pain. He believes, because I am able to use the ankle without extreme pain that we are going to go forward with steroid shots and a special elastic ankle brace. Not like the ones I've been using when I go out. How long this plan will work is something we don't know at this time but he is very hopeful.

What do they use to make the river green in Chicago?
Sending hugs Debby!! Continuing to pray for your health.
I am encouraged that your ankle doctor was honest with you about surgery. Trying the other shots and brace will be the best for you first. Praying for that, and praying for your pain.
I'm sorry your life seems to be such a mess right now. Its so hard... Praying for relief.

So sorry about the pain you have to endure until May! Ugh. That sounds like good counsel from the ankle doctor. Glad you can see better already with one eye done. Hope your pain decreases while you wait!!
I think your doctor sounds wise and caring and hopefully his solution works for you. I know you're anxious for the shots for your back, but I'm glad the doctors were paying attention to the other things you had going on. You'll be fully recovered from the cataract surgery by May and then can move on to the back issues. Take care. I think it would be fun to see the green river in person. Not sure I'd want to deal with the craziness that comes with it though!
I've always been curious about the green river in Chicago. Might be neat to see it one year. Sorry about the delays in getting your shots, and about your ankle. Glad the doctor is nice and sounds like he was being very honest with you, which is a good thing.
