I have been given a tag from my friend IRL Headless Mom at The Adventures of the Headless Family. Go on over, meet my friend and read the questions she was given to answer.
The rules: Answer the questions, come up with 10 more, and tag 7 people. Easy!
1- Which celebrity do you want to tell to "Shut up, already!"?
The rules: Answer the questions, come up with 10 more, and tag 7 people. Easy!
1- Which celebrity do you want to tell to "Shut up, already!"?
Since I don't watch the news or read trash magazines I really haven't got a clue.
2- What is your favorite happy hour drink?
Margarita
3- What is your favorite thing to cook/bake?
I don't have one but I would say that a turkey w/stuffing is the easiest thing to make. I do enjoy making cookies at Christmas.
4- What is one thing that you wish you had more time for?
Honestly it's not about the time for me. I have the time. It's about moving past my insecurities, meeting friends for lunch and traveling to visit family/friends or see the world.
5- What is the FIRST thing you would do with a jumbo lottery jackpot?
Obviously give to charity. Invest it for the future although our money isn't making money right now. Pay off the mortgage, our sons mortgage and buy our daughter a house. Then maybe pay off the kids cars. I love, love, love to take people out to dinner! It brings me great pleasure to treat people.
6- What song/artist do you always turn off when it/they come on the radio?
Country Music, I just can't get into it. I have tried several times. Honestly I seldom listen to the radio, I always play Cd's or my MP3.
7- What one household chore is your favorite? (Or at least the least hated?)
I like doing a load of towels, they are so easy!
8- What is your favorite flower?
I love the smell of a Freesia but I love the looks of Sunflowers!
9- What food do you like that most would say "Eeeeew!" to?
I can't think of anything other then raw mushrooms. I know several people said eww to them on one of my posts.
10- Is there something that you refuse to blog about? Why?
Well I don't post pictures of my children as adults because they don't want me to. Otherwise I am pretty open and honest. (I don't think I would ever talk about sex)
If you are here and want to play along, these are your ten questions from me.
(I'm not tagging today since I just did one on Friday)
- How often do you change the sheets on your bed?
- Do you wash your hair everyday?
- Have you ever told a white lie to get out of doing things when people ask?
- Do you like to talk on the phone or send emails to communicate?
- Matthew McConaughey or George Clooney?
- I have know people who take a new towel each day after they shower. Are you one of those people?
- Have you ever been on the news or had your picture in the newspaper?
- Do you buy new cars or do you always buy a used car?
- Do you have a green thumb when it comes to house plants?
- Where would you like to live when you retire?
So come on, give the tag a try and pass some questions on to others. Let me know if you play!

Thanks Debby, yes I did participate. I love reading your blog and consider us wonderful bloggy friends. Have a great day! Psst... HI Skye and Charlie... are you two just enjoying each other's company? I haven't heard any Skye stories lately, so I figure they are entertaining each other quite nicely. Good to chat! ♥
Good stuff! I love Q&A and getting to know bloggy friends better.
I am not as creative as I once was so I'll pass on this one.
Thanks for posting this! Hey, what are you taking on Tuesday?
No contest...George Clooney : )
Hope you have a nice week!
I liked the answer to the questions given to you and I liked the questions you posted yourself. I might have to do them down the road. I try to limit my blog entries to not more than 1-2 times a week so we'll see. Yum on raw mushrooms, but I can why it would not be a favorite of yours or others. I agree about not posting pictures on blogs either especially if family requested you not do so. I think for privacy sake, always a good idea not to be too revealing about our lives, not knowing who is reading these things
towels are fun to do aren't they? my least favorite chore is unstacking the dishes, silly isn't it?
we are having some strange weather today....
betty
Sounds fun to me. I will have to play this later on for sure..
I totally agree with your answer to number 6 - I despise country music. I don't know why, but I've always had a strong aversion to it. I can manage to stand a few "crossover" songs, but that's really pushing it, but the first hint of the faintest "twang" makes me instantly change the channel.
:)
ButterYum
Just thinking about a margarita makes me happy. Especially, on a hot day.
That's funny - I love raw mushrooms but can't stand eating cooked ones.
I may answer your questions tonight, but I don't know if I have the brain power to generate new ones!
Debby,
Don't you wish sunflowers had a fragrant smell like freesia? That would be a great flower to have.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
I always love reading your ansers to these! Oh and by the way Team George here:)
I have a green thumb when it comes to herbs yet a black thumb for houseplants. It makes no sense.
I have a killer margarita recipe. I dont drink them but my Hub loves them. If we ever meet, I will make one for you! :)
I love the smell of freesia, too, but can't get it to grow in NC. It grew like a week in Australia!
Love your answers and learning more about you. I'm going to play along as well.
I always love reading your answers - I used to hate Country music, too, but now listen to it 75% of the time - new/contemporary country, not the old kind that wailed about their wife running away and their dog getting run over. ;)
Your questions are brilliant - I might just have to play along in the future! ;)
Where to retire? Well, since our girls will be in college when we are in our 60s, I guess we will be retiring to our backyard! Great questions...
You know my love of Christmas cookies :).
Man why can't all laundry be easy lie towels!
I'm right there with you on towels--that and underwear! ;-)
looove me some margaritas too!
and i think towels are easy also, you don't have to hunt up hangers, open drawers, fold socks and all that...
simply fold a towel.. and then they all go to the same spot!
I'm on the road today but I answered your questions on my blog. Thank you and I'll catch up with everyone soon :)
Ugh, I can't do the country music either!
I may or may not have enjoyed 3 frozen margaritas this past Saturday night. ;)
I like margaritas too, even though I've only ever had a couple. I'll have to order one the next time my husband and I go out for dinner. :-)
Great answers! I especially love what you said in #5. How generous of you!!! xoxo
Thanks isn't Belle cute.. I do love her tons..
Thanks...
Matthew and when I retire I want to live in Salt Lake City or on the Snake River.
George Clooney!
Loved the answers! That's always a nice way to learn about a person! I'll come back and do them all if I have time later.
I'm a margarita girl, too. Yum.
No washing my hair every day- it's too thick and takes too long to do. I usually do use a new towel every time I shower-which IS every day, even though I don't always wash my hair each time. ;)
I love my country music! It's amazing:) This was fun I love learning new things from my blogging friends!
Oh we love country music!!
More interesting facts! What kind of music fo you listen to? Also, remind me how you made taht adorable photo Warhol-style of Skye? It is just too too cute!
I'd love to hear that you got out of the house more and started being more social. When we moved into our condo, I told my husband that it was forced socialization! People were everywhere and I had to interact.
Moving to Jacksonville has been a complete change for me. I lunch with friends often, I go to events, I meet new people all the time. It's truly amazing.
I'll answer a few!
1.
How often do you change the sheets on your bed? - Once every two weeks.
2.
Do you wash your hair everyday? Nope, every other day.
6.
I have know people who take a new towel each day after they shower. Are you one of those people?
Yes, I am. My skin is terribly sensitive, so I don't want any cross contamination. At least that's what I say!
8.
Do you buy new cars or do you always buy a used car? I have had two new cars and the rest have been used.
I participated too.....but I didn't tag anyone.
