Skye had a great Christmas but she did not like posing for pictures. Her face has gotten so dark that sometimes you can't even see her eyes. I wanted her to get a new pair of PJ's for Christmas but I didn't get around to shopping for them until Christmas Eve and all I found was this little dress. She is such a tomboy that I don't normally get anything fancy for her but for $5.99 on sale I thought this one was cute.
Where is her face? Anyway I have to tell you we put their presents under the tree that morning and after Adam & Tristen arrived with even more presents for her and Charlie Skye just sat there waiting for us to start. Honestly we were in the kitchen eating some Hoska and Hashbrown Egg Nests but she could care less. I think she waited there for about 45 minutes and wouldn't move!
She was really into opening her gifts this year and
of course going right for the heart....squeaker!
This was a few hours later and she was exhausted
after destroying many of her gifts.
I cleaned up after her several times but decided
to take at least one picture of her path of destruction!
Time to rest.....
I will be back with a Christmas post at some point.
Hope your Christmas day was fun!
FYI: If you are a fan of Call The Midwife on PBS there
is a new Holiday Special on Sunday evening. 7:30/6:30c

Oh wow, she seems worse than a toddler! But a good toddler, since she did wait for such a long time!
Glad that Skye had a very Merry Christmas.
Just like a typical kid! ;-)
LOL, I think she had a great time!
this made me smile..she's looks so fun and totally into Christmas.
Oh my goodness! Skye and Tucker must be soul mates! Tucker is the same way about his stocking- he LOVES that thing every single year. And he's like that with his Easter basket too. Spoiled much? LOL I know he and Skye would be good friends if we lived closer!
So glad that Skye had a nice Christmas - hope you did, too! ;-)
Your dog. Is a tomboy. I guess she's expressed her disdain for things "girly"?
She's cute, with or without Christmas clothes. :-)
Debby, adorable pictures. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
Skye reminds me of a darker version of my Westie. Thanks for the heads-up about "Call The Midwife" - I added it my DVR schedule. Have a great 2013 Debbie!
How adorable! Our dog does not care about presents or toys. All she wants is food. So she got a small bag of treats in her stocking of which she gets one a day.
I love Skye's little outfit. What a cutie she is.
hehe It so looks like my boys have been to your house!
I love the dress and that is so funny she sat there for 45 min like come on mom let's get this started!
Looks like you all had a very Merry Christmas.
I am so laughing as I read this post. That little dress. And she looks like a baby bear! Disco was so excited about Christmas too - I think he smelled his gifts under the tree. It looks like you had a great time.
I could hardly see her face in that first pic, but what a cutie! Looks like she had a fun opening her gifts. Happy weekend!
Debby she is so cute!!!!
This is SO cute! Sounds like Skye had a perfect doggy Christmas.
Happy New Year, Debby! Loved seeing the pictures of the pup and her enjoyment of Christmas! lol Bella, our Chihuahua, got a new dress, too, that she absolutely loves! ha! Actually, this Texas weather turned cold for Christmas, and Bella is grateful to have her sweaters to keep her warm while she takes care of business outside. Right now, it's 34* outside. Fortunately, Bella doesn't do the packages. I don't know how we got so lucky.
My daughter's little Dog got one of her presents early when my Daughter left her shopping bags on the floor in the utility room and went to shower. She came back and Yoshi had gotten her new squeaky toy out of the bag and was playing with it. How do they know? As for my Smokey, he didn't like his little toy. He likes only one type of mouse and none other and no treats that i've tried.
Mama Bear
Hysterical! I love Skye's dress. I hope my dogs don't read this post. They got nothing for Christmas!,,
Happy New Year friend!
That Skye is one blessed doggie and so cute, My Grandoggie Sally had on a party dress for Christmas too!
Love skye, but the last picture is the best!
She is so adorable!!! Love her! I have the same problems trying to get my black babies pictures to show up... I was laughing when you wrote about her going right for the heart (squeaky). Thankfully Santa didn't bring any of those for the first borns this year! ;-)
Wishing you a sparkling 2013 dear Debby, may 2013 be filled with lots of laughters x
What a smart dog! Skye is so cute in that dress. Happy New Year, Debby!..Christine
poor little thing wearing her dress! :)
too cute... we got Trixy the exact same assortment of red and white toys.... isn't it amazing how they seem to know which presents are theirs? and what is it with removing the squeaker?
Happy New Year to you and your family!
