2. What's put a spring in your step lately?
Well there is a wedding we are going to at the end of April and I haven't seen my Florida family since before the pandemic. Adam, James and Gabby are going too. I can't wait for them to meet James.
However, there is a lot more to be worked out before I can go so please pray for my health to be back on track. Will mention more in the random.
3. When you were a kid, what was the best snack to find in your lunchbox? If you didn't do the lunchbox thing, tell us what was your favorite after school snack.
I would go home for lunch and I don't have any memories of what my mom would make for us. We were just a block away from school. My mom was an alcoholic. But I remember watching Bozo!
4. In what area of your life are you planting seeds ?
Can't think of anything other than hopefully planning a trip in June to see Amber and Dylan's very first house. They just closed on Friday.
5. Why do you live where you do? Would you consider living somewhere else? Why or why not?
Well we live in Southern California because of something that happened years ago. Mark left me for a woman he worked with when the kids were very, very young. Then he moved to California because she went there in hopes that he would follow.
Then he wanted us back in his life and he had a job in California so we moved out here to be with him. I know it sounds like a very sad situation and it was very difficult for me to leave my family in Illinois. However, in the long run, our children have found the loves of their loves here and I consider that a blessing for them.
Well, California isn't the best state to live in. Lovely but costly. Obviously we are here because of James and of course Adam and Gabby. However, it is very hard not to be with Amber and Dylan too who live in Great Falls Montana.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Well here is some more news that isn't happy or exciting. Not to mention that I don't need another health issue going on in my life. Enough is enough!
I woke up early on Thursday morning with chest pain. Something I have never experienced before in my life. Ended up going to the ER at 2 am. As you may know, things in the ER take forever to get worked out. I'll try to make this short.
I was put in a room in the ER. I was taken for a photo of my heart. Then an hour after that they did a chemical induced stress test with and EKG. I got a thumbs up for that. Then I was sent for a second photo of the heart. I was also moved to a room which was patient observation. If the test were all okay they would send me home.
They decided that they wanted to do an angiogram or angioplasty for further testing. However, I have to be off my blood thinner for three days so they sent me home around 9:30 pm. I got a prescription for a pill for possible angina.
I have to say that with everything that is going on I have been nothing but completely stressed all the time and could have been caused by stress. I am feeling okay now and haven't had any chest pain at all.
I have my left eye cataract being done next Thursday. Because of different testings it may not be possible to schedule something soon after another procedure. So it is possible I will not be able to have the ango tests done immediately. However, like I've been told, if it was an emergency they would have done it without me being off my blood thinners.
The one thing I know is that I am not missing that wedding!!!!

So sorry to hear about the chest pain and the ER visit. It's just one thing after another piling up for you. You are in need of some happy days. I'll be thinking of you and sending some positive thoughts and prayers your way
I'm sorry Debby. You have been under a lot of stress and I'm hoping that was the cause. I know you're looking forward to the wedding and I will pray all goes smoothly between now and then so you can travel without worry. Take care!
I’m sure the ER visit was scary!! You truly have a lot going on. I pray you find peace through this valley!
Hi Debby, I am sending hugs and prayers.
I enjoyed reading how you ended up in California, I always wondered about it.
Carla
How scary for you, Debby!!! I will be praying for good health and safe travel for the upcoming wedding. God bless and keep you!
I’m sending hugs and prayers for your health and for the wedding trip. ❤️
I am glad you are okay and I will keep you in prayer. Stress can cause physical pains for sure.
glad you are getting the 2nd eye done, it might be hard with one good eye and one not. so sorry about the ER and all the tests and it does sound like they are not worried, or they would not make you wait... it might have been stress, stress has made me sick all year, so far no chest pains.. hope Murphy did not read what I wrote
prayers for all to go well and you be able to go to the wedding
90 degrees is hot! I think I told you that we got to take our kids to see Bozo!
I know you are excited about both your trips - and you want to go - I pray they both work out for you.
Be careful Debby if the doctor wants to do the heart tests - do them. I am worried about you.
Congrats to Amber and Dylan and their first house.
I am sending prayers.
Debby, praying your body cooperates with your desire to go to the wedding! Ugh. Sorry about the chest pains and the emergency room experience. How nice for Amber and Dylan to have been able to purchase their first home! Take care.
Oh Debby, you certainly have had more than your share of stressful situations. I do pray everything will work out so you can go to that wedding and also the trip to see Amber and Dylan's new home. Praying all of your tests/surgery, etc. will be fine. Stress can do a lot things to us and it can certainly mimic heart problems. Praying for things to calm down for you. (((hugs)))
Friend, you cannot seem to catch a break. Will definitely pray all things calm down (especially with your health) and all the plans come together for your trip! And for the wedding:)
What a terrifying experience with your heart, Debby! I'm so glad they took all those tests to rule out anything catastrophic!
I know it doesn't always feel like it, but you're a strong lady. I've no doubt you're going to rally in time to make that April wedding ... and Montana, too.
So sorry to hear about the chest pain and ER visit, but very glad that you are getting looked after. Praying for all the tests and that you are feeling healthy and can really enjoy that ucpoming wedding! Happy Spring!
Oh Debby, enough is enough!!
Prayers for you right now. Prayers for pain relief and that your stress level will go way...way down.
Too many tests and procedures..enough is enough !
(((hugs)))
