Well my favorite song is "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, it's the ringer on my phone. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world....
2. When was the last time someone yelled at you?It has been awhile since that has happened. I know that last Thursday when Mark had his eye surgery he got upset with me having to wake him up every hour to put drops in his eyes. I know there were words!
3. Money, fame, happiness...are they mutually exclusive?
Well first I had to look it up because I didn't know what you meant. (To say that more than two propositions are mutually exclusive may, depending on context, mean that no two of them can both be true, or only that they cannot ...) Okay, that didn't help me either! Well I know that you can have happiness without money or fame.
4. What is your favorite dish to prepare for family and friends that doesn't require turning on the stove, oven or an outdoor grill?
Well you didn't say crock pot! I'm going to say my black bean chili.
5. The first week of August is National Simplify Your Life Week. What is one thing you could do this week to simplify your life? Will you do it?
Well this won't be a surprise to any of you. It would be to stop blogging. It has consumed my life, I stress if I can't read each blog daily. I'm trying to pull away but it's not working.
6. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being 100% and 1 being not at all) how tuned in are you to your country's national political scene?
2, only because I hear some talk about it in the house. I don't watch the news or read the papers. You can call me clueless.
7. What are your final parting words to the month of July?
I will miss you, I'm not ready for summer to be over.

I have two things to share. My sister in law and her partner were leaving a casino in Arizona on Saturday when her partner started having chest pains. The employees of the casino were quick to respond and she was on her way to the hospital quickly. She had a angiogram done which found a total blockage and then a angioplasty was done where a stent was put in. She did have a heart attack! She is doing great and should be back at home now. We thank God for the protection of her life.
JAPANESE TSUNAMI.....FROM A CAR'S PERSPECTIVE:Yu Muroga was a Japanese driver on a tour with an HD camera mounted on the dashboard when the earthquake took place on March 11, 2011. Like most people of his area, he did not feel threatened by the tsunami, as it was far enough from the coast, so he continued to drive and do his job...Until... I had posted one a few months back on the aerial views but this is definitely one to watch.

That was one strainge video. He stayed so calm! Chili is good stiff!
I do love my crock pot but I don't use it much in the summer.
Maybe you could put your favorite blogs on a rotation? Say you visit half of them on odd numbered days and the other half on even. That way you don't feel like you're deserting your friends but it also frees up time for you to do other things. Just a thought.
Enjoy your day!
I don't know why I don't use my crock pot much in the summer ... it makes perfect sense as it doesn't heat up the house.
I'm with you on #6. The news is just too depressing to watch.
i love anything to do with a crock pot!!!!
great answers!!

2. When was the last time someone yelled at you?
about 4 years ago when my dad was put in the nursing home and he abandoned my dad and left him in the house for weeks with nothing and while in the nursing home we got in a yelling argument, hes a jerk face!
3. Money, fame, happiness...are they mutually exclusive?

4. What is your favorite dish to prepare for family and friends that doesn't require turning on the stove, oven or an outdoor grill?

5. The first week of August is National Simplify Your Life Week. What is one thing you could do this week to simplify your life? Will you do it?
I would be sad if you stopped blogging.
you can always read 2 or 3 a day and post something just once a week, make it easy and fun for yourself!
Im afraid I cant think of one way to simplify my life.Im a happy and spoiled girl, cant think of a thing
6. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being 100% and 1 being not at all) how tuned in are you to your country's national political scene?
I would say a 7 and am totally DISCUSTED!!!!!
7. What are your final parting words to the month of July?
Why couldnt you have lasted longer? I dont want my daughter to go to school on the 11th, I will miss her while teachers and kids influence her in bad ways with no momma there to protect her from the BAD teachers that could care less and the nonscense with the kids. Education is important, not how you dress or whos dating who.

im sick of the pain from my wisdome teeth being pulled, should have not had the procedure done, its been about 4 weeks now, yes, you can feel sorry for me, giggle, no prayer would be better.
I am an eight on the politics but Hubs and I CANNOT discuss politics- we sit on total opposite sides of the fence- or else there WILL be yelling. LOL
Oh yes I've had those same words with Rick since he has been home from the hospital :).
I got nothing for #3 :)
Yeah crock pot!!!
Debby your so amazing with all the blogs you read and comment on!
Poor July I miss you :(
Oh blessings and prayers to your SIL!!!
WOWZER on that video. Did he get out before that water came up and took him away?
I know nothing about politics! And yep you can have happiness without fame and money, although having lots of money would be really really nice(I really like shopping). That video is scary, wonder if he survived? Poor people. Hope your SIL recovers quickly, hugs.
I know this to be true! Money doesn't make you happy, but it is nice to be able to pay the bills! :)
Strange about the heart attack. My doctor has just told me to be careful because women have totally different symptoms than men do. Glad she's doing o.k.
Very clever You!! I didn't even think about the crock pot!
I wonder if Yu Muroga survived. It looks like there at the end his car went under. I don't know if that was his voice or a narrator - he sounded so calm, I'm assuming it was the latter - Just horrifying to think that all of the people shown on the tape, more than likely died.
I think you're the only one who is sad to see July go!
That video was incredible. Pretty sneaky using the crock pot for the answer!
I can just imagine the ring tone you have on your phone.
Very cheerful!
I think several of us had to find out what `mutually exclusive` means. I had to ask my hubby and still am not really clear on it.
LOL...You go girl..your right she didn't say crockpot. I should have thought of that :)
I make yummy BBQ ribs in my crockpot. Of which we had for supper today. All I do is throw my boneless ribs in with BBQ sauce and let it cook all day. YUM
I'm glad someone else scored low on #6.
I guess I should be more aware.
I didn't know the stock market crashed til hubby came home from work.
Praise God that the employees knew what to do and acted fast.
I love "What a Wonderfu World", too.
I like Joyce's suggestion about visiting blogs on a rotation. That's a great idea, why didn't I think of that!
That was some video! Scary stuff.
Scary video. I can't even imagine.
It really is a wonderful world!
I need to use my crockpot more! There are some really great recipes out there.
I love, love, love Louis Armstrong's song. Brings a tear of happiness to my eyes every time I hear it!
My of my... so glad to hear that your SIL's partner is doing okay. That's scary!
Glad to hear that your SIL's partner is doing well. Very scary but thankful for quick response.
Thanks also for sharing the video from Japan. Amazing and horrifying!
I am so glad that your SIL's partner is doing well. She is so lucky there were such great people around to help her....
So glad that your SIL's partner is doing OK. How scary- and yet amazing how wonderful medicine is now-a-days!!!! I think to help solve your blogging stuff- set a timer. Blog to get out whatever is on your mind and then read some but when the timer is out- you're done! ;-) (I do love you reading my blogs though... ;-)
HOLY Moly how did I get so far behind! Phew I'm all caught up now :)
I hope your SIL is doing real well post heart attack. how scary, but it sounds like the casino got right on it and saved her.
