1. Using what's in your frig right now what sort of meal would you be able to make for guests who are knocking at the front door this very minute?
That is not going to happen, we would order pizza! I could make sandwiches if I had to.
2. What is something about yourself that you hope will change but that probably never will?
This may not be the direction you were going but I will say my severe asthma/COPD. The lungs do not repair themselves.
3. What's something about yourself that you hope will never change?
My love for God.
4. Do you usually send serious or funny greeting cards? Why?
I normally send regular ones. Not necessarily serious but I don't send funny ones often. No reason other then I like a regular card. I sometimes send funny for a special birthday like over the hill!
5. Bird watching, shell gathering, or star gazing- your choice for whiling away the hours?
Definitely star gazing and I don't mean movie stars! Shell gathering would be a close second.
6. Do you double or triple check things? If so, what?
I would have to say yes. Normally it would be a list of things, like a list for packing for a trip, Christmas gift list or grocery shopping.
7. What's your favorite place for people watching?
The airport has always been my favorite. From the emails I get I guess I should be watching at Walmart!
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Not really thinking right now. I am home from Mammoth Lakes, CA and it was a great week. I have laundry to do, shows to catch up on and lots of blog posts to read.(over 300) I promise to be around over the next few days to catch up on each of you.

I wish your health problems would get better too.
I love star gazing....at our favorite campsite you can see SO many stars, it's breathtaking.
Loved ## Good answer! I wish your lungs were stronger as well. I'm sorry they are not.
Hope you had a wonderful time! I'm also a list checker. Enjoy your day and take your time getting back into the swing of things.
Yuck--all the 'stuff' one needs to do after returning home--hope all went well on the trip.
Great answer to number 3!
That's the worse part of a trip is coming home and unpacking. Hope you had fun. If you get the time you may want to enter my giveaway. It ends Friday.
Star gazing is my husband and I's favorite. We get a blanket for the back of the truck and just lie there. So peaceful!
Walmart is definitely a good place to people watch. If life is a circus, Walmart is the freakshow!
Can't blame you for wanting to be rid of medical problems! Our Walmart isn't near as interesting as downtown Charleston!
You have quite a list to catch up on after your vacation.
That's the way it is with me too.
Debby, you can come on over to my house I have leftover pasta and meat sause in the fridge! Thank God it's not the day after mac and cheese! Great list. I wish there was a cure for your COPD. Prayers on their way!
Blessings, Joanne
Welcome home! I hope your trip was fun.
No fun having any kind of health issues...it's "always something"when you have them!!!
I think I'm going to spend more time people watching at Wal-mart, too. I've seen some strange photos...LOL

I so KNEW you would say order pizza :). And darn if it would be the best time ever!!!
hehe yes Wal-Mart is a fun place to watch, but so could the airport :).
I'm a list maker too :)
Loved your answers! Those were cute.
I love people watching from the front of my coach. Especially if I am with male colleagues. Their reaction to some of the women walking past is hilarious! I bet the people we're critisizing can actually hear the gales of laughter occasionally coming from our direction! At least we do get some funny looks at times...
Pizza... good answer!
So glad that your week at Mammoth Lakes was a good one.
I have a list for just about every occasion, too. I still double and triple check everything, but at least I have an idea of what to check. ha!
You've had such a busy summer with traveling!
I like your answer to #1! When all else fails, serve them pizza!

<3 Wish your COPD would go away and your health would improve (((HUGS)))
You and me both with the pizza ordering! Forget trying to pull a meal together!
Walmart is definitely a good people watching spot, but I hate it too!
Loved reading your answers.....You always have the best posts......So agree on Walmart
I love pizza, so make it a gluten-free one, and I will be right over :)
I do wish your lung problems would go away! My husband has them too and he gets congested so easily. Of course, being a man, he doesn't take care of himself!
If someone showed up at my house they wouldn't get anything to eat out of the refrigerator! We would order pizza too!
Assuming I could also use my freezer, then I can almost always pull together a pretty good meal at a moment's notice. I prefer to be able to plan, though. And I am more of a funny card person.
we have a birdfeeder in our yard and G loves it.
