Hard to believe I saw four movies in the last week. I posted about The Conjuring on my Wednesday Hodgepodge which I saw last Monday. Tuesday I want to see Grown Ups 2 and Now You See Me. Then yesterday Mark and I went to the show. Very rare that we go out on the weekend to see a movie but he was out of town last week and will be leaving in the morning for another week out of town!
So I went to see Grown Ups 2 - IMDb Tuesday. It was very silly which is what I expected but since I do like most of the actors in this movie I did enjoy it and I found myself laughing often!
"After moving his family back to his hometown to be with his friends and their kids, Lenny finds out that between old bullies, new bullies, schizo bus drivers, drunk cops on skis, and 400 costumed party crashers sometimes crazy follows you."
Then I went to see Now You See Me - IMDb which I thoroughly enjoyed. I thought it was fun and exciting. Again this movie had a few of my favorite actors in it which made it even more fun for me. Movies for me are a great form of entertainment. No they are not all great movies but a day out of the house eating some popcorn makes me happy!
"An FBI agent and an Interpol detective track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money."
Saturday Mark and I went out for an early dinner and then we went to see White House Down - IMDb which was excellent. We really enjoyed the action in this movie and Tatum/Foxx were great together.
"While on a tour of the White House with his young daughter, a Capitol policeman springs into action to save his child and protect the president from a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders."
So what have you seen lately?
I have plans to see another movie on Tuesday....

Took the grands to see "Monster University" yesterday! It was cute and they loved it!
Sounds like a good movie week! I want to see Grown Ups, I love Adam Sandler.
We go to a movie about one a year!! We went to see Red 2 recently and we both loved it!
Nothing.
We are usually big "movie-goers" but there has been nothing on that has interested us in quite some time now. I really miss going to the movies. We did take Mom to see Despicable Me 2. I do like "silly" so I might go see Adults 2.
my daughter loves Channing Tatum...may have to go see it with her...I want to see Adults 2 also...thank you for the reviews...
All my movies are on Netflix, s not current. In the past week or so I've seen "Five Minutes of Heaven," "The King's Speech," and "Bernie." All good.
I didn't see Grown Ups nor do I have any desire to see Grown Ups 2. But Now You See Me and White House Down sound like movies I'd enjoy.
Great. Now I want to see White House Down. I'm not all that into action....but Channing? Oh Channing!
Well we have some of the same tastes and some different ones - which is good between friends. I did like the Lone Ranger you suggested. IT is nice of you to give us a little idea of what to expect. You are my Siskel and Ebert. sandie
I love to go to the movies too.
It has been sooo long since I've been to a movie and I do love them! Must fix that! Maybe this week!
I Love you get a chance to see movies!
We did go see Grown Ups 2 which was the first movie I've seen in a while that was an adult one and not a kids movie ... lol. I actually enjoyed it, usually those are Ricks' movies and I just sit there and count the time until it is over.
I think I may like White house down, glad to hear it was good.
Well you have been busy! Guess summer is a good time for movies.
I haven't been to the movies in ages! The ticket prices are so ridiculous, not to mention the price of the concessions. These days, I'm content to settle for watching movies on the big screen. Thanks for sharing the movie info though :)
You make each of these movies sound good. Last one we saw in a theater was Silver Linings Playbook, excellent.
We've been wanting to see Now You See Me but evidently missed it when it came to our little theater. Sounds like we should keep watching for it on PPV.
we haven't seen anything this year. I wanted to get out and see the 3 animated movies Sequels but haven't been yet.
We saw Despicable Me 2...loved it!
