Volume 259
Thank you Joyce.
1. What do you think about luck?
It can happen but I won't hold my breath!
2. Not counting your own backyard, what's a favorite green space in your town, city, or state?
Besides being in Mammoth Lakes I am going to say The Huntington Library & Gardens. Haven't been there in several years but we just recently talked about going again. It is amazing!
3. How do you make your life more complex than it needs to be?
Worrying about the things we cannot change.
4. I read here the three places you should visit with friends. They are-New York City, Hawaii, and Amsterdam (rent a bike, walk along the canal, visit one of their world class museums). I felt the need to expound on that one. Moving on...Of the three places listed which would you most like to visit with friends? What's one place not on the list you think should be visited with friends?
I pick Amsterdam! However I really want to visit New York City and Hawaii someday. I'm going to say an amusement park like Disneyland with friends would be fun.
5. What's the last live performance you saw? On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being best) how would you rate it?
It has been a few years. I think it was Billy Elliot the musical. It was a 9 for sure.
6. March 14th is National Potato Chip Day. Are you a fan? Your favorite flavor? Besides potato, what's your favorite chip type of snack?
Yes I am a fan but as a rule we don't have any in the house. It is not a low carb item! I am currently in love with these......
It can happen but I won't hold my breath!

Second choice would be Doritos Nacho Cheese which we also don't keep in the house except for a special occasion.
7.What rule is most important in your home?
Right now it is watching Skye (also Amber's Charlie) outside. They can't be out alone because we have seen random coyote's during the daylight hours. Scares me to death! Other rules that I like followed seem not to matter to everyone else right now......

For tomorrow:

Debby...you must visit Hawaii some day! So worth it! We've had some coyotes reported in our neighborhood here...not a fan. Hope your Wednesday is awesome!
I knew Mammoth would be top on your list.
I'm just trying to catch up after a long absence. I always enjoy your Wednesday hodgepodge.
Blessings and hugs for your week.
We did the same with Koda when we lived in Murrieta with the coyotes. He never went outside without one of us and at night hubby would carry a stick with him in the backyard just in case. One day I did see a coyote just at the edge of the fence line, almost waiting for Koda to come out. They would make their sounds (which to me sounds like children laughing or crying) in the middle of the night and Koda would bark at them inside the house. I often wondered if they then knew where a potential meal could be from.
So true about worrying about things we can't change. I tend to spend a lot of time myself doing that.
betty
good idea to watch the dogs, coyotes and birds of prey need to be watched for small pets. I love all or any chips, but none in the house. i do buy a small bag of Ruffles if we have hamburgers because i have to have chips with my burger. if i kept them in the house i would weigh 400 pounds in a years time... i love doritos to..
i have lots of favortie out door green space here, i think Beer Can Island is my favoite... beach, water and trees.
Love kettle chips but like you I don't tend to have things like that in the house - I end up eating them all!
Coyotes- yikes! Kettle chips are good because they are so crisp it takes longer to chew- that means less chips ;)
I want to see Billy Elliot, may have to rent it. Have a great rest of the week :)
Having coyotes around when i was growing up in SoCal always had me worrying about my cats. One day i saw one roaming down our street and saw my cat on the porch so i quickly swooped her up and brought her in the house. We always got them in at night. I don't have any coyotes where i live now but we have raccoon and foxes. So i still make sure my pets are in, my new cat doesn't even like going outside. I also like the salt & pepper chips from Trader Joes!
Happy St; Pat's day to you tomorrow too.
Worrying about the things we cannot change - I totally agree.
Would love to go to Hawaii with you! lol
We have a place called Gibbs Gardens - 200 million daffodils right now.
I'm playing along today, but can't see the linky to add my blog to the list :(
Oh, no! Not coyotes! We've lost a few cats to those awful things.
I think you feel the same way about Mammoth Lakes that I feel about St. Simon's Island :)
I love your Irish Blessing!

I chose Amsterdam, too. Now those salt and pepper potato chips are exactly what I was talking about. Yummy! We have to keep an eye on our dog in the back yard too. Coyotes roam about in the daytime here as well.
For sure about leaving the little ones unattended!
We've a 6' block wall, but some people claim the coyotes can scale those with no problem. I get so cross (and sad) when people say their dog's gone missing. Yes, I'm a 'heliocoptor doggie momma', and darn proud of it! :)
Our apartment overlooks the woods, and hubs and I saw a coyote step out from between the trees there recently. People do walk their dogs back there, which is a little frightening. We had coyotes in NJ and were warned if you had a little dog, to keep an eye out. Our dog was big, so not as tempting to them I guess. Enjoy your St. Patty's Day!
Loved your answers. If you are ever down south when the azaleas are blooming you for sure need to visit Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile. Happy St. Paddy's to you.
Enjoyed reading your responses Debby. I need to work on #3.
Hi,
We are the same with our chips. :-) We do not have them in the house on a regular thing as well. They are a treat :-)
Coyotes are getting bad!! The same thing is going on in many of our Wisconsin communities too. One fella lost his dog in the dog park to a coyote. He has since designed a special jacket for dogs to wear to fend off coyotes. The attack happened so fast for him, he even yelled at the coyote. The coyote did not care, it just carried his dog off. He sells his dog coyote jackets on Etsy.

Happy St Patrick's Day to you!
I am the same with worrying!
liked your answers.
I like your answers - but I worry way too much over things I cannot change...Don't know why. I just do. Guess I should put that on my prayer list!
Those salt and pepper chips are my FAV!!!!
