abundance on this Thanksgiving!
Volume 287
Thank you Joyce....
1. What's something you might say runs in your family?
We are worrier's.
2. I read here a list of ten things you should do before 2017 arrives (in less than six weeks!)...which tasks on the list might you do? What would you add to your own 'before the year ends' list?
visit your Dr. or dentist, deep clean your home, donate unwanted items to charity, look someone in the eye and tell them you love them, write an honest letter to yourself, clean up your inbox-desktop-photos, travel to a place you haven't been, compliment a stranger, watch the sunrise, think ahead to your goals/plans for the new year
That is a great list. I might donate unwanted items and compliment a stranger.
3. What's something other generations (not your own) misunderstand about yourgeneration?
How much we love the country we live in and grew up in.
4. Sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread dressing-which would you miss the most if it weren't on the holiday dinner menu?

Probably stuffing but it is Pepperidge Farm stuffing that we love and I have to have gravy!
5. What are you overthinking right now?

My dad passed and the worry Gene to me he was king of worry and now I am going. And I overthink everything and I do exactly what you said you're doing go over and over and over in my mind what I want to say well I'm going to the doctor. I also if I say something I shouldn't have said then I go over and over and over that in my mind what I should have said and what I should have not done. Overthinking is my thing
That should have said my dad was the king of worry and passed that Gene to me
Oh don't worry: Black Friday made it safely across the pond and is now taking hold in Norway as well! Madness I call it...
I got the worrier gene from my mom. I'm trying really hard lately to stop worrying and not be so anxious. Its hard when its been a lifelong habit, so to speak. I like the acrostic for the word grateful. Maybe instead of having the conversation in your head with the doctor, put the thoughts down on a piece of paper so you can remember them all when you have your appt next month.
Happy Thanksgiving!
betty
I agree and worry about the kids of today and their appreciation for America - we are so blessed aren't we- to live here?
I come from a family of worriers too!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Debby.
Love, sandie
Ya, I come from a long lineage of worriers. At this time in my life I just hope God looks on it as a prayer?
I can't think of a single traditional Thanksgiving dish that I'd miss ... hence, we're going out tomorrow for prime rib and salmon. LOL!
Love your acrostic, Debby. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mark!
Yes, I, too, must have Pepperidge Farm stuffing. I don't know what cornbread stuffing tastes like...perhaps I should try it someday, Yes, stop, is a good word because no matter what you discuss with the doctor then, you can not do anything about it now. No. That's not right either. You can always give it to God and let Him deal with it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Debby!
Oh, that random thought is a good one--and it's true!
I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving, Debby.

That is a great answer for #3! Wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving!
That's a good list of things to do before 2017. Time is running out though so if I were going to do any I had better get busy...lol
Amen on #3! Even our own children, who were raised to love and respect the flag and the country it represents, don't really "get" how we feel about it. Or why. I'm praying that God returns the U.S.A. to what it was in our youth.
That's quite a list - a little overwhelming for the remainder of the year. Although I have to admit I have several projects I need to get done in the next few weeks myself.
Thankfully I didn't get trampled this year or have anyone be crazy. It was a easy shopping day this year!
