Thank you Joyce :)
1. Did you watch the solar eclipse? Your thoughts? Sun Chips, Moon Pies, Starburst candies, a Blue Moon beer, a Sunkist orange, or a Milky Way candy bar...what's your favorite eclipse related snack on this list?
No I did not. I don't usually gravitate to any of the ones listed but I wouldn't turn down a Blue Moon Beer!
2. What are you 'over the moon' about these days? What's something you enjoy doing every 'once in a blue moon'?
I guess that would be Adam and Gabby's wedding coming up. Remember when I shared that I went with Gabby for her dress fitting. Well when she went to pick it up the next week she struggled with being 'over the moon' about her dress so she bought a new one!!!
3. Tell us about something in the realm of science that interests you. How do you feed that interest?
I've never been into science but I do love the clouds so I do take a lot of pictures of them, even from airplanes!

4. What are a few things you remember about going back to school as a child?
The only thing I remember are some new clothes.
5. I've seen several versions of this around the net so let's make one of our own...share with us five words that touch your soul and briefly tell us why.
God - Because He love me
Family - Because I love them
Love - Because it feels good
Movies - Because they bring me joy
Friends - Because they fill my day with joy on Social Media

I promised a post last week about my surgery but I just haven't felt up to it. However I am doing okay with my knee replacement. But just like the hoops I jumped through beforehand there have since been more hoops! The referrals just went through for in home care. I see my doctor tomorrow so it's not even going to matter anymore......

Take your time on the surgery post. Whenever you feel more up to it is fine!
I don't think I remember much about first days back at school. Apart from one year when my mother had me going into sixth class instead of the third (where I was supposed to go). The second and sixth were next to each other, while the third was at the other end. Hence the confusion with my mother. I of course knew better...
That's fun that she bought a new wedding dress! I watched the eclipse at 90% in my part of NC. It was exciting, so now I want to travel for the next one to see it in totality! Keep bending that knee!!!
1st day of school new outfit shopping - the best!
Recovery is no picnic. I hope that three months from now your knee will be so worth the surgery. I hope Gabby's wedding day is lovely and that you'll be able to really enjoy it.
not sure if this fits under science, but wireless devices blow my mind on how they work and the internet does to... and I am over the moon with my tablet, I just love it. love the pic out the plane window.. I am with you on school and new clothes being the only memory
I saw the eclipse at 97%.
You should tired from your knee surgery - don't give up - each day is going to get better and better.
And what kind of insurance do you have - that is awful - you need home care.
I like the clouds too.
Also I am glad your DIL to be got the dress she wanted - good for her.
Fell better Debby.
Love, sandie
Will you be up and about for the wedding? Clouds have always fascinated me, too. I used to spend hours watching them in the summer when I was a kid. I've done it as an adult, too and it's still fun. Is your in home care more like a nurse or a physical therapist? THe hoops are ridiculous. Luckily, Mother's hoops weren't too bad after her hospital stay. Probably because that place knows they nearly killed her. LOL I'm not really laughing but she does swear they nearly killed her. Hope recovery goes speedy quick!
I love clouds too and take lots of pictures of them also.
Hope your recovery goes quickly Debby.
The eclipse was astounding. And I am definitely a science geek.
I virtually never eat them, but I have to admit I kind of like Moon Pies. Childhood carry-over, I guess.
I love clouds but don't take oictures of them.
You take care of yourself!
Have a good day!
I like your soul words. :-)
Sending hugs for you. Take care of you.
xx oo
Carla
I didnt watch the eclipse either.
So cute about Gabby buying a different dress! But with the assumption you are only going to get married once, why not make sure it is absolutely the dress you want to be married in! Didn't catch the eclipse either. Sorry for all the hassles now following surgery to get care, etc. Hopefully a good report from your surgeon tomorrow!
betty
I love watching clouds and their shales and the way they change so quickly. I take loads of pics of them, too. I hope you will be feeling better in just the right dress. I get that. The words you chose are good. We didn't see much here. It just got a little dark in the afternoon.
Enjoyed reading your hodgepodge answers. Hoping your recovery goes well and you get the advice and care you need!
Good for Gabby! I think every bride deserves to be over the moon on her wedding day. (I do hope the Bridal Shop was able to credit the first one.)
I should have said clouds and the weather for my answer : ) How funny she got another dress, although I think quite a few brides-to-be do that. Hope all goes well with your recuperation and the hoops get jumped!
Hi Debby, Praying your have a good doctor appointment today. I know you will start feeling better each day and week.
Hugs,
Noreen
Hoping your recovery is going well Debby.
I did not plan to watch the eclipse but joined a group watching it on my neighbor's deck. It was a lot of fun.
1. Did you watch the solar eclipse? Your thoughts? Sun Chips, Moon Pies, Starburst candies, a Blue Moon beer, a Sunkist orange, or a Milky Way candy bar...what's your favorite eclipse related snack on this list?
Yes I did. In Nashville TN we had the total eclipse. I would have to go with Milky Way...but my snack did not relate to the sun or the moon, I had sunflower seeds!
2. What are you 'over the moon' about these days? What's something you enjoy doing every 'once in a blue moon'?
I guess I am over the moon about trying to get my house in order. Clean and clear out things.
3. Tell us about something in the realm of science that interests you. How do you feed that interest?
Clouds...I love to study them. To try and find an image in them.
4. What are a few things you remember about going back to school as a child?
The first day to see whose class I would be in and what FRIENDS would be in there too.
5. I've seen several versions of this around the net so let's make one of our own...share with us five words that touch your soul and briefly tell us why.
Family- They are a part of me, or I am a part of them. They are my history and will be my future.
Dakota - My 10 yr old rat terrier- he is my bud and my best friend
Lily - my new kitten of 2 months. She has made mine and Dakotas life whole and brought so many good times already.
Retirement - Cause I worked really hard to be able to do it.
Fibromyalgia - it touches my soul, my legs, my arms, my head, my back, my chest and I can't live a day without it.
6. Insert your own random thought here
Trying to work on my home that the fibro has caused me to let go of for a few yrs. Cleaning, sorting, clearing out things to make life easier but still have things around me that I love.
I hope your Recovery is coming along fine. that has to be hard to go threw.
Take Care
Glad you are doing okay post surgery. :-)
