1. Have you ever spent time on a farm? Tell us a little bit about it. Have you ever grown your own pumpkin? Been on a hayride? Driven a tractor? Milked a cow?
Yes I have but it wasn't a working farm at the time. Mark's grandparents bought a farm house with a barn and some property up in Phillips, WI back when we were in high school.
I have never grown my own pumpkins. I believe I have been on a hayride. I have never driven a tractor or milked a cow.
2. What's something younger you would like about you now?
She would like my heart and my compassion for others.
3. What are three things you'd like to do more often? Three things you'd like to do less often?
Visit with family member who live far away. I would like to read books more often and I would really enjoy going to amusement parks more often.
Laundry, doctor's appointments and scrubbing tubs!
4. What's on your nachos?
If we make nachos at home they would have Hormel chili on them, pepperoncini's, salsa, lots of cheese and sour cream.
5. What's the most random thing in your purse or wallet? Does it need to stay there?
I don't know....maybe a children's benadryl or a piece of real ginger candy. Sometimes I will be itchy and a children's benadryl does the trick and the ginger is for Mark if he has an upset stomach or heartburn. So yes they need to stay there.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We made it to Montana. It is wonderful being with Amber, Dylan and their dog Charlies. Skye did pretty well in the car with an anxiety pill. It snowed on Monday and it was a high of 34 on Tuesday!
There's a new Sheriff in town!
Skye is enjoying the snow....her first time!
Snowing....

The tree is so pretty! So glad you had a safe trip and are enjoying time with your family. How fun to be there on your birthday : )
I would like to see Jake see snow.. Skye looks so cute and happy. I am with you on the less often list. I don't use a purse, and I have done all of number one, the milked cow, make that TRIED and could not.. I have not had nachos since I retired in 06, but if I did, I love the cheese that is melted in a pan
Glad you got to take a trip AND see snow! Skye looks pretty in the snow. What a great way to spend your birthday.
Oh my gosh - glad you are there and having a good time. Skye - was that her first snow - she must have been so surprised. Did she do good with that?
Snow and 34 degrees, WOW! I hope you have a wonderful visit.
By the way, I'm with you on less laundry, doctor appointments, and scrubbing tubs!!!

I bet Skye had so much fun with the snow!! Glad you guys made it there safely and are enjoying your visit :)
betty
I never thought to add pepperoncinis to our nachos.... yum!
Would you please let me know what that anti-anxiety med is your vet gave Skye. We've been using Solliquin, but it hasn't done a thing.
Enjoy that beautiful weather!
Oh my, snow. I wouldn't like having it already.
When I was young my grandfather still had a working farm (cattle mainly). Somehow though I never got to milk a cow or sit on a tractor. Both need to be rectified I think. As for the pumpkin: I don't think I had ever seen one until I was in my twenties. Hallowe'en was not something that happened when I was growing up.
I so agree with your #2. You have a wonderful heart Debby.
