Seriously I do not have a clue as to why the days are just flying by so quickly. As mentioned in a previous post I still have our trip to Montana, the baby shower and their house to write about. Just haven't felt like writing them.
Most weeks I'm finding it difficult to keep up reading everyone's posts. This bothers me. This can't all be because Mark is home, yet I was able to accomplish writing posts and reading posts before his retirement at the end of June. Something has just shifted for me and I don't like it. Blogging has been my joy since April 9, 2009.
I loved this season of Big Brother. I also watch BB After Dark which tapes for 3 hours every night in the middle of the night for the last 3 months. So yes this has taken up my time but I can blog and watch it at the same time. I'm also happy that the Fall Season of my favorite shows has started.
A few things to report. I had to do a second check on my left breast after my mammogram in May. I had an appointment two months out because that was the soonest they could get me in. I was told that I had nothing to worry about. They just needed to look further because of my dense breasts. Well wouldn't you know that two months out we no longer had the same insurance.
So I will keep this short even though I could type a few paragraphs about it and the rude woman I had for my second mammogram. All is well. Small cyst which needs no further action.
Bowling started a few weeks ago which has been fun. I finally got my six referrals to see all of the doctor's I was previously seeing. I had five appointments last week. I have a few more appointments coming up in October but the transition has been somewhat easy.
There has been a few small irritating issues that have taken many phone calls to get straightened out but all in all things are falling into place. Again I could write several paragraphs on the small irritating issues but they are over with so why bore you with that.
Tonight we are having dinner with Adam and Gabby. We are celebrating my birthday which is next week. Since our grandsons due date is October 6th something can happen any day now. I am really looking forward to seeing them tonight.
The last time we saw them was two weeks ago. We did have a conversation with them about the fact that we would really like to be able to stop over once a week to visit the baby after he is born. They are good with that.
Gabby will be home for 4 months with the baby. When she starts back to work Adam is going to take his baby time off and stay home with him. Of course Adam will be home after he is born for the first week and work from home the second week. Gabby's mom will be staying with them too.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Hopefully I will have some baby news to share with you soon!!

I feel there is some excitement about the baby coming - I am so happy and excited for you.
So glad no breast cancer!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched Big Brother - hate to admit it - and I liked Tyler and Casey and it would have been hard for me to pick - but I think I would have picked Tyler - YOU?
Love, sandie
Great news your going to be a granny, I have a sister with that birthday. You have a lot going on with the doctors, so maybe it's not all the hubby.lol
So exciting with the upcoming birth of your grandson! I can't wait!! (and I know you can't wait either :)
That is good that Gabby will be off for 4 months and then Adam will be taking time off. Good bonding for both of them. Hopefully down the road you'll be able to have some "alone" time with the baby and give them a break.
Time does seem to be flying. It is hard to sometimes get it all done in a day. I know I struggle with that at times and writing blogs have taken a back seat here recently.
Enjoy your dinner out tonight!
betty
I know what you mean about time flying by. I have so much blogging to catch up on. I've posted two summer updates and plan at least one more. I just never got to blog this summer at all. I spent my summer with Doctor appointments and tests etc. That sure is a racket and much more time consuming than I think is necessary sometimes. Congratulations on your coming grandchild. Our second is due in March. I have a busy weekend planned, can't spoil it though...blog post coming. ;) You have a good weekend!
so know what you mean about time flying. It does not seem that I have enough hours in the day either. Busy is good is what they always say but some times I wish I was not so busy,
I can empathize with you on the doctors' visits and phone calls, Debby. So far, so good here … but man, it's annoying! Can't wait to get on a Medicare Advantage plan when open enrollment begins next month. (I've been putting off having a mammogram done, myself.)
How'd you like "A Million Little Things"? I'm a fan, but Tom not so much.
I think we must just go in cycles and you're in a bit of a down one right now, but gee, with your birthday and a baby due next week, I bet you perk up and even if you don't blog, I bet you will have pictures to share. I'm glad your mammogram report was good and it really doesn't help to have to undergo such a personal thing with people who are rude. I have to assume there is something going on in their life that is difficult, but when you work with people, you really can't afford to be unpleasant. Take care and don't be hard on yourself.
I've been there with not feeling like blogging.
How exciting, a new baby soon. So close to your birthday too. You two can celebrate together.
We both started blogging in the same year. I didn't realize that.
I'm glad your mammogram showed no major problems.
I have a giveaway happening over on my blog.
Happy Birthday, Debby!

Glad it was nothing. Be vigilant with those screenings - dense tissue masked my tumor.
Glad the mammogram results turned out okay. Always a worry. It sounds like Adam and Gabby have things well planned about post-delivery. I hope you had a nice dinner together. I'm not sure about the blogging slump, but I feel it too. It seems that life is so busy and it's harder to find time to sit and blog. Hope you're having a good weekend, Debby.
So glad your recheck on your mammogram was good. That's a relief.
Congrats on the grandbaby! So exciting.
I get it about blogging. Life is busy and I do love have a "diary" of sorts of our life, it is easy to get behind.
I always love your posts.
How exciting to be on baby watch!!!! What a great birthday for you this year. I can only imagine the irritation with the new insurance thing and having to make phone calls. Stuff like that drives me CRAZY!! I hate hate hate calling the cable or internet people. I'm glad your mammogram was good. I have all that coming up this month, and I usually get call backs for followups too. I try not to get worked up about it, but it depends on my psyche each particular time. I'm praying for no call backs this year. I look forward to seeing the first baby pic soon!
Happy Monday, Debby! It's October, I hope your temps have dropped some.
We are having a pleasant day. Temps went down into the 60's overnight.
Hello Debby,
Exciting times ahead for your family. Lots of prayers and love.
Carla
Oh there are so many exciting things going on right now! I'm happy to hear you are well and Congratulation on the Grandson due so soon.
I'm afraid I understand how difficult it's been to keep up on your favourite blogs...life just seems to be so busy.
Be well!
