So when Adam and Gabby went to Puerto Vallarta for 5 nights we got to watch James for a few days. Gabby's sister had him for a few nights and we went and picked him up her house.
We went to Adam and Gabby's house to watch him. We knew it would be best to have him in his familiar surroundings. Besides the fact of all the equipment you need with a baby!
In the car...
Getting ready to eat, snacking on a few stars....
Playtime....
Of course we watched Roxy too! Their friends nearby watched her until we arrived.
We really had a nice time with him. It's not easy babysitting when your 67 years old. Gosh my sister was 46 when she started having grandchildren. Makes a big difference.
We took him to his day care each morning and picked him up early afternoon. Adam and Gabby wanted him to get back on schedule after being at her sister's place and both of them going back to work the day after they got home. It gave us a nice break too!
He is such a happy baby except for when he's hungry or tired. We had a ball with him. He can be so silly and you can see it in his eyes. I think he is going to have a great sense of humor like his dad and his grandfather.
These are my favorite.....
He was so much fun and so happy!
Isn't this adorable?
I sent this picture to his daycare sitter. She is a wonderful woman who watches him in her home. She said she has never seen him stick out his tongue. I started to realize that he only does it around me because I started doing that with him months ago. At least he remembers me for something!!!
Now the kids take credit for making him wave hello and clapping his hands but they don't realize that I've been doing that with him every time we babysit. I'm always waving hello and I also do patty cake clapping my hands together.

so many precious happy memories in just these photos. he is just so cute!! love the pup and glad you both could stay at home with them, so much easier on all of you...
You are a wonderful grandmother, Debby! A hands on one! He is so adorable! And you are right, it is exhausting the older we are as grandparents. I always need a little nap after watching the wee one. Glad you guys were able to do this and get this added time to spend with JP!
betty
He is absolutely precious and yes, such a happy, beautiful baby boy. How blessed you are to be close enough to spend time with him. And yes, to teach him all those fun things.
Absolutely adorable! That's too funny about sticking his tongue out.
He is simply adorable. What a joy to have him to spend time with.
What fun! And he is a real cutie! Yes so much major baby equipment these days! How did Adam and Eve ever manage. Lol. I was 44 when our first grandchild was born but we're still having grandchildren and I'll be 71 in a couple weeks!! My stamina is not what it was. I'm now a sprinter, certainly not a marathoner. 😃 Those years really make a difference. So glad you had a fun time with him. 💗
He is adorable!
Oh Debby - he is adorable - I love the first photo - those blue blue eyes! What a doll. He looks like his mom - don't you think? Glad the kids went off and you had a great time.
Enjoy that most beautiful baby all you can. I know what you mean about how difficult it is to babysit... mine wear me out!
Such a beautiful baby! It sounds like you're making some fun memories!
As adorable as they are they can be a handful esp when we are older. Thinking that is the reason God has us having them when we are younger. HE IS SO CUTE. Love those beautiful eyes.
Awww, sticking the tongue out is so cute!
Baby care comes with a crazy amount of belongings, doesn't it? But worth it!
