1. What's your favorite thing to do when you have
time on your hands?
Honestly I always have time on my hands and I've
become a lazy person.
2. Company coming tonight for dinner what do you
2. Company coming tonight for dinner what do you
cook?
Easy Provolone Chicken Casserole. I always keep the
supplies on hand to make it.
3. The weather is perfect outside, how would you
spend the day?
Inside reading blogs or watching movies. Like I said
I've lost my mojo! Trying harder to go to the gym.
4. It's morning and you just got up, what do you

have for breakfast?
Lately I haven't been hungry in the morning so
it's more like a brunch. It could be a low carb
chicken tortilla or Cheerios with almond milk.
I feel like a bit of a Debby downer today. Sorry.....

I'm like you and have become a lazy person. In the past I would spend as much time outside as possible when the weather was nice but this year, other than going out to mow the lawn I haven't spent any time outside. I would prefer to stay in the house. I think it's because I can't take the heat like I used to.
I love casseroles, I should try this recipe☺
Eat breakfast! It will give you some energy which in turn can turn into a bit of mojo. You don't have to go for a full English with sausage and bacon and eggs! Hope you get out of the doldrums soon. Nothing is worse than feeling as if you don't want to do anything.
That's part of the reason I don't retire yet. I'm afraid I will become lazy and never accomplish anything. At least having to get up and go to work keeps me going.
Hang in there friend.
Hey Debby~ sorry you are not feeling it today and I hope that changes for you soon.
1. What's your favorite thing to do when you have
time on your hands?
Reading used to be my thing to do....but over the years that
got replaced with crafts and now its seems like that has been
replaced by blogging and facebooking.
2. Company coming tonight for dinner what do you
cook?
haha....order out!! haha. I used to love to entertain and
have friends over but I don't do that anymore at all.
3. The weather is perfect outside, how would you
spend the day?
swinging in my hammock till it gets too hot
then I move to sit in front of the tv or nap
4. It's morning and you just got up, what do you
have for breakfast?
COFFEE...just coffee..
FEEL BETTER SOON.
I think many of us have gotten lazy as we grow older. 🙂 I know I have. Have a great day Debbie.
breakfast would be grits with an egg and cheese stirred in it, or PB on English muffin... no company comes to our house for dinner, ever. but if they did it would be call out for pizza. I am retired and always have time on my hands, and most of that is spent blogging or reading or both. IF our weather ever gets cooler, I will be back to walking my mile a day
Cheerios with almond milk - good idea. I wish I had more time on my hands - I am always running. Hope you get some good weather - lol. Love, sandie
I agree with the comment that said you should eat breakfast. "They" say you should eat something about 30 minutes after you get up, but mine is more like 3 hours some days, but you need that morning protein to get you going through the day. I eat for lunch Special K protein bars (for breakfast I have a boiled egg and a packet of low sugar maple syrup oatmeal from Quaker Oats). Anyway, the meal replacement bar is only 160 calories and I think has 12 g of protein; 210 mg of sodium so if you are watching your sodium it might be a bit much of it.
I haven't had almond milk, DIL drinks it and likes it. I'll have to see if I can get a small container and try it.
I think you can get your mojo and your focus back. I think you get it at times and then something happens and you lose it again. Hopefully things will settle down over the next few months and you can concentrate on taking care of you!
betty
Well. some days are truly "Debbie Downer" days but today I am good.
Got on the scale and was down another pound...yay for me.
!. time on my hands is most days now that we are retired.
I spend far too much time on the computer.
2. Love having company and oven BBQ chicken or Chicken Divan are my go to's...
Having Bible Study at our home tonight...no dinner, just snacks this time.
3. When the weather is perfect I sit under the awning on our patio and read...absolutely love doing that but it's been too warm.
4. I have two eggs and mushrooms and coffee every day. It's my protein boost and has helped keep my diabetes numbers back in the normal range.
Fun meme...
I am going to have to look up that recipe!
Oh no! I am sorry you are having a Debby Downer kind of day. I hope it got better for you!

Great answers, Debby, this heat we are having leaves me with not much motivation.
Blessings,
Sue
Hi Debby! I have become pretty lazy too. Reading is my go-to.
For breakfast, I have grits, egg, and banana all mushed together in a bowl. :)
