We didn't get any good pictures at Christmas but Adam and James came over on Sunday to watch football so I got a few cute ones then. James had a bit of a cough but otherwise he was in pretty good spirits.
Gave him an old remote with the batteries out because he wants the remote control when he sees it. This made him happy. Gabby was home sick with bronchitis. Looks like we might be heading over to their house this weekend to watch football.
If you follow me on Facebook you have seen these photos. James thinks it is rather funny to play with Skye's bell. She uses the bell to go outside, she pushes it with her nose. Trained her from a puppy and 11 years later she still rings the bell.
Of course he thinks it is even funnier to put it in his mouth. (Trust me it is safe!)
Got a shot of the guys watching football. Since it was after James' nap he was willing to sit still for a little bit, otherwise him and I were all over the house all day long. I got some steps in for sure!
Speaking of Skye, she turned 11 on Tuesday the 7th. She is a Cairn Terrier like Toto from the Wizard of Oz. We were told that she might change colors within the first 4 years and she definitely did!
Enjoy your weekend!

skye is every bit as cute as she was in her other coat of lighter furs.. and James of course is cuter by the day. he does look a little sick in the remote photo. his eyes look like he doesn't feel himself.
Skye is adorable but your grandson is a living doll. Love the boys watching football.
Wow! That was a big color change. She is adorable both ways.
Your little grandson is so cute. I am smiling at the description of being all over the house and getting your steps in. Yup. Boys are some kind of active.
Hope that you are feeling much better very soon. Breathing is important!
Be still, my heart! James is such a cutie! I know you cherish every single minute you get to be with him....even if his activity level is infinitely more than yours.
Skye is a precious pooch. She is the same age as my Ginger. Ginger is a beagle and was 11 in October.
Hope Gabby feels better soon. Sometimes, bronchitis can be a real bear to get rid of.
Blessings,
Patti
Wise for you to give James an old remote with the batteries out of it. They have so much fun mimicking their parents or other adults. James truly is so adorable! His expressions are priceless! Great weekend to get together and watch football! Lots of good playoff games!
betty
You're a lucky lady having those three handsome guys there. :)
I tried to do the bell thing with one of my dogs and I couldn't get them to learn to ring it.
Hope Gabby is feeling better soon
Wow, that's a big color change, I wish my hair had gotten darker instead of whiter as I aged.
~smile~
James is so adorable, this is an age where they know they are the center of attention and they love it. prayers that he and his mother feel better soon.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
Sue
I did not do a lot of pics over the holidays matter of fact I did my best avoid the holidays....Just part of the healing process. Pics are great and your grand is adorable.
Come to think of it, we didn't do Christmas-day photos either. Facebook sightings or not, I can't get enough of sweet baby James. :)
Your grandson is a doll! And Skye is adorable. You're right, she did change colors, wow! Good ol' football. My husband is a HUGE fan, we watch the NFL and College and even high school. We're definitely watching the Seahawks and Packers tomorrow! Go Hawks!
What a little man he already is! And so cute!
Adorable.
And I had no idea Cairn terriers changed colors. That's interesting.
Sweet.. I love that little James.
I had to chuckle seeing your son in shorts. We woke to -2 degrees this morning. LOL
