Here we go!......
1. Do you have a hobby or a special interest? Do you quilt, crochet, cook, sew, collect things, sing, play an instrument, love dolls , politics, learning, reading, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, flower arranging, watching TV? Do you love to entertain, set a beautiful table or just take a walk? Share it with us won't you? Why do you enjoy it? Can you tell us how you became interested or what particularly interests you about your hobby. Would you share some photos or pictures of your hobbies or interests or lovely things you've seen along the way?
2. Gardening is a hobby for some. Do you garden or grow house plants? What do you like about it? What are your favorite plants inside or out? Pictures? We'd love to see photos of you house or garden plants or hear about ideas you have for growing things or creating beauty with plants around the house.
I use to do gardening but my husband does it all now. I do have house plants and I use to work in a flower store. Living in Southern CA we have flowering plants in the yard all year long.
3. If you could design a dream garden or park , how would you do it? What would it contain.? Maybe include a picture from the net of one you think closely fits your dream garden.
I love our backyard right now but if it were up to me all the plantings would be wild flowers so it would look more like an English garden.
4. Do you like being outdoors? If so, what attracts you to the great outdoors and if not, what keeps you inside? Do you walk in the rain? Are there parks near you that you like to visit?
I enjoy sitting out in the backyard on a hot day having an ice cold beer with my husband. I certainly can't say that I enjoy walking in the rain. Honestly because of my COPD I do better indoors than outdoors. No I do not have a park nearby that I visit.

Gardening has never been my thing. I am horrible at it and I hate weeding. I like seeing a beautiful garden just not working on making one beautiful. Your back yard is beautiful. What a view you have
First, love your tree skirt!

This gets the imagination going! Waterfalls, stone statues...no, marble, grass green and bright, tulips, storybook doorways that lead to other lands, peace in the air, peace in your soul as you enter it, music that comes from your peaceful soul. Ahh.
Have a good day, Debby! 💐
my most loved hobby is reading, it is a rare day that I don't read for at least 2 hours.. or more. I love wild flowers best of all and prefer jungle growth outside. I do like English gardens if I don't have to care for them. not a gardener but love looking at what others do... we have parks everywhere here and I have been in everyone of them many times. but it has been a couple of years since I was in one of them. I used to visit several times a month, then several times a year and now none. no idea why.
I think you have great hobbies, Debby. I always enjoy your movie reviews and you do put up lovely trees for Christmas! An English garden would be grand, wouldn't it?
betty
We love going to the movies. Hubby & I are going tonite to see Dr. DoLittle. He also took me to see Little Women & CATS.
Have a great week, Debby! 💖
Enjoyed your answers and lovely pictures. Have a good week.
I enjoyed reading your answers today. Sounds like we have some things in common. I would love to have flowers blooming in my yard year-round and I do, sometimes, if you count dandelions! ;) Have a great rest of the week! :)
I always like learning about my friends. I understand you - you would like to do a lot of things - but health issues get in the way. True for me too. The spirit is good - the flesh is a bit weak. I bet your garden is beautiful.
I do love reading and spend quite a bit of time at it. I also love creating jewelry. Made most of my Christmas gifts this year. Will be focusing on fancy earrings this year.
Your yard and view is wonderful! I also like the idea of an English garden that has tons of flowers, but the work required is awesome. It's so hard when health isn't up to snuff too.
Your Christmas tree is beautiful and it is hard to pare down as ornaments are so much fun to collect. Thanks so much for joining in!
Such a beautiful tree. I would love to see your ornaments up close! And your back yard is gorgeous! It really doesn't need anything else with that view! I also love wildflowers and would love an English Garden, but I'm afraid mine would just look like weeds. I don't really have a green thumb. Things just have to grow naturally and I will appreciate their beauty. It was nice to meet you here today! Have a blessed week!
Oh wow! I love your back yard too Debbie! Gorgeous! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Is that your backyard?! I'd be out there most of the time, just enjoying that gorgeous view! I make my own greeting cards but haven't done it in a while due to my work schedule. I do enjoy it though.
Hi Debby, I love your tree! I am a Hallmark Collector too! I have had to cut back since we downsized. But I have multiple trees. Our main tree was mostly Disney with a few family ones like Baby's first Christmas and Grandparents ornaments. I did our year round pencil slip tree with Nativity ornaments. I put my Mary's Angels on a large round wreath this year over the piano where we had the Nativity set up. We put up a pencil thin tree in the kitchen that is a bit frosted and it all gingerbread. One guest room had the Hallmark years from 1990 to current and Noah's Arks. Master bedroom has country angels and home made ones. So I guess Christmas in a big hobby for me too! We are in So California too. We use yo have a view home until we downsized.
Your backyard is amazing!
I like that idea of a cold beer and looking out at your back yard.

FIRST OFF...I LOVE that backyard also. What an amazing view. What part of So Calif do you live in? I usually travel out your way once every other year when I go to La Mesa to visit my son. Love it. Plus, I am a Calif girl, well lets say that is where I started from. I was born in Port Hueneme Calif. Next, do you really seriously want me to answer my about hobbies and crafts? haha...I am that person that never settled on just one or two!! Yes, my photography, crochet, knitting, making jewelry,painting...and painting....painting. HAHA and wood work.I love to garden but this past summer with my emotions and feelings of depression I let mine garden go to pot. Not sure at this point where I will be putting one when I move. So sorry, I am all over the place!
Hi, Debby~
Your tree is BEAUTIFUL! I would love to keep my up year round but our dogs would make sure there was nothing left. I love to garden, go to the movies and read myself, I need to make more time for that.
I pray you and your family are well!
Blessings~
Laura
I'm happiest outside IF the weather isn't too bad. I don't like cold. I like walking in the rain if it's warm and the wilder the garden, the better.
