1. The sweetness of summer...where have you found it recently? If you're in the Southern hemisphere, feel free to tell us about the sweetness you're finding in winter.
Seeing James almost every weekend has been the best sweetness of summer. Enjoying our garden has been sweet too, it's getting me outside everyday.
Also the buy on get one free at Macaroni Grill on Monday's has been sweet. We don't go every week but I need to take my car for a ride so it is usually getting curb side pick-up when it's an item that we like.
2. Take your sweet time, sweet tooth, home sweet home, short but sweet, the sweet smell of success, sweet talk...choose a sweet idiom and tell us how it fits your life currently?

Well definitely "home sweet home" is pretty much six days a week here which is okay, however I am taking my "sweet time" on doing housework and I'm really upset with myself about that!
3. Sweet as honey, sweet as sugar, or sweet as pie, which phrase do you use when a sweet phrase is called for? What's the last sweet treat you indulged in?

I haven't found myself using any of those phrases but I would choose "sweet as sugar." I have recently indulged in banana bread which Mark made.
4. First thing that comes to mind when you hear the word fidget?

Actually the first thing that came to mind are those fidget spinners that were out a few years ago, otherwise it would be someone who can't sit still.

I remember driving from Illinois to California with my parents, brother and sister. I remember riding a pony that got out of hand. I also remember that my dad got bit by a spider.
The best thing that I remember about that trip was going into movie studios. I saw Jerry Lewis making a movie and I saw Jay North filming the Dennis the Menace TV show. Someone let me look through the camera. I believe we went to Disneyland too but I don't remember that.

James loves when an airplane flies by. I just bought him some yellow PJ's with planes and clouds on them. Can't decide if I should give them to him now or save them for his birthday in October.

You are a late bird like me. Did you go to the Macaroni Grill off Cajalco? I did not know about the special. Now I want to try it out. Dennis the Menace, cool. I got to see Jerry Mahoney. Do you remember him. The puppet with the big mouth. Enjoy the cooler weather because it will get hot again!
That picture of James is adorable.
Sweet pic of James; he will be so cute in the airplane pj's. My garden gets me out in the yard too. I usually water the garden in early morning.
I never use the word sweet in the comment unless it's to say I don't eat sweets anymore and then I say sugar not sweet. Now that I think of it that's kind of strange. But I do use precious a lot which is what that picture is of him looking at the airplane. So far we haven't ordered anything except no contact delivery pizza we've done that twice and that's the only thing we've had from outside the house that I didn't cook in 5 months
I forgot when I read the word fidget it threw me back in time to where I was sitting in church while my dad was preaching and my mother used to pinch my leg and all I had bruises because I was always fidgeting because I didn't want to sit still. I still fidget while I watch TV Bob makes fun of me all the time because my hands are always picking at each other or circling each other and other words I fidget with my hands and I move constantly my legs go up they go down my foot swings I rarely sit still
Does James have the Fisher Price Little People airplane? Grandson had it when he was James' age and loved it. He too liked looking at airplanes in the sky. Adorable picture of James! I remember those fidget spinners; such a popular thing and then one day on the clearance rack LOL. Cool memories of your trip to California and the stars you got to see!
betty
OOOH, I forgot about banana bread.
I love it, want to send me a piece? LOL
I enjoyed your answers today.
Have a good Wednesday.
I said fidget spinners, too!
Oh, that James...what a cutie patootie! :)
James is a cutie! You'll have to post a picture in his jammies some time. I loved reading about your childhood trip. How amazing that you got to watch filming.

That sweet James, he makes me smile.
I enjoyed your travel memory.
Do you know what kind of spider got your dad?
Ooooh, that sweet James! Me, I'd be too impatient to wait on gifting him those PJs. (*smile*) As a girl, I'd have been over the moon to watch filming of "Dennis" -- I loved that show. My mother was a fidgeter, as well .. perhaps that's why she took up knitting. Hmmmm.
James is so adorable, go for it and give him the PJs now. He might not be as excited about planes by October. Hope you have a great day :)
Fidgeting...that's what I did last night once I got into bed...I just couldn't seem to lay still..the more I tried the worse it got.
Not crazy about Sweet Tea..like mine unsweetened.
James is SWEET.great photo of him gazing at the airplane...My boys were fascinated by the garbage truck. When it came that was our Sweet time to watch and wave every week.

Debby,
I said fidget spinner, too. Great minds, huh?
I'm glad you are enjoying your garden. It gives you a sense of accomplishment, doesn't it?
I'm letting some housework slide, these days. It's a never ending job anyway.
Your grandson is so precious. Makes you wonder how we made it through life without them, doesn't it?
Kathy (Reflections)
I say give them now or he might outgrow them by October. They just grow so fast.
I don't think you are much of a sweet eater are you? Dang I am.
James is the sweetest thing ever - especially looking at those planes.
ADORABLE!
I vote he gets the pjs now. There's always something fun to buy : ) We normally have a lot of company which keeps me on top of the housework. These days I'm more eh about it.
James is adorable. I think I had a lot of bruises from being pinched in church for not sitting still!
I love bogo deals! I haven't been to Macaroni Grill though, I don't know if we have one anywhere near here.
I'm glad you are getting to see little James!
God bless your day.
Thanks for visiting.
Cute
So sweet!
First love how you cropped the photo of James. So cute, he is.
And 2nd...I went to Disneyland...in my 50s!
Hi Debby, it's always so nice to drop by and read your blog. We are still going through the process of owning a home.💖
