1. Five years ago this month hubs and I relocated from New Jersey to the Palmetto State. What were you doing five years ago this month?
According to my blogging history which I looked at to see what I was up to in August, I saw 8 movies and did Wednesday Hodgepodge. No other posts of any special activities in August 5 years ago.
2. What was the last 9-5 job you worked? Tell us about it.
2. What was the last 9-5 job you worked? Tell us about it.
Well it wasn't 9-5 but I worked at a Hallmark store. I left there about 10 years ago for a few reasons. We had moved from the area and it was about a 25 mile drive for me and I just couldn't do the work anymore with my COPD. I kept that up for about three years after we moved into this house almost 14 years ago.
3. Plead the fifth, high five, take five, it's five o'clock somewhere, or the big 5-0...which number five phrase relates to your life in some way currently? Tell us how.

Well this doesn't happen that often but I believe I have said "it's five o'clock somewhere" when I've had a bad day during this pandemic and had a glass of wine at 2 pm!
4. During this season of spending so much time at home, what distractions get in the way of being your most productive? Or have you been extra productive since this whole thing started?

I wish I had been extra productive!!! I'm having a very difficult time during this season of being at home even though I didn't leave the house all that often before this season.
I'll admit I am scared. So I bury myself in taping Hallmark movies everyday and they take me away from what is going on in the world. It is my safe place and the day passes nicely.
I do the things I have to do like dust, vacuum, cook, dishes, laundry, etc. but I don't understand why I can't be productive? What I do need is a treadmill.
5. Give us a list here of your top five anything.

Since I went with "it's five o'clock somewhere" I will list 5 of my favorite drinks. Pinot noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Corona beer and a Moscow Mule. Of course I wouldn't mind a Margarita on the rocks!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Just thought I would share this photo that came up on Facebook this week. This was James last year on 8-16-2019.

James is so cute! I am such a light weight when it comes to alcohol that I stay away from it. On occasion I will share a margarita with the hubby if we go out for Mexican food. But we won't if we plan to get a dessert. ,
I'm pretty sure that 5 years ago I was doing the same things I'm doing now..
My job isn't 9-5 but I've been doing it for 23 years now
Love the picture of James. He is such a cutie
I am sure I was doing the same thing 5 years ago and even 14 years ago because 14 years ago September the 26th I retired from not a nine-to-five job but a 7 to 6 job. And sometimes more hours than that. Says then I have done exactly the same thing so I don't even have to check my blog. James is just so darn cute even wet. I am a fearful person and a believer in Murphy's Law so the virus has really upset my apple cart
I know when this all started I wasn't phased by having to stay home but it does get old for those of us afraid to do anything at all. I love the sweet photo of James, just adorable. Have a great day - cheers! ;)
Fun Top 5, Debby! Mine would have to be Cabernet Sauvignon, Tanquery martini, Black Russian, Campari and Soda, and Colorado Bulldog. Love this bathtub picture!
James is a cutie!! I have been enjoying a drink around 3 or 4 in the afternoons depending on my day.
Oh my goodness, how much James has grown in a year!! So cute though! I like your list of drinks. I keep saying I'm going to try a Moscow Mule but haven't yet. After I got fired and before hubby retired some afternoons I would have a glass of wine around 2 or 3 o'clock and then take a nap LOL. I knew those days would end when I would have the house to myself so I took advantage of those alone times :)
betty
James is growing up so fast, wow!! I just love those eyes.
I like your drink list.
Are you still planning to travel to Montana? We have cancelled our September trip. We will look at planning a trip in the Spring.
I just love seeing pictures of James. He looks so happy all the time.
Who says we always have to be productive. Keeping up with your chores and enjoying life is a very good thing. I seem to spend a lot of time watching TV in the evenings and it makes me happy.
Take care my friend!
I think your mental health is also important right now and doing things to reduce the stress and anxiety you're feeling is a good thing. If it's Hallmark then I say watch movies and breathe easy. Your little James is so adorable!
Hard to remember any life before Covid - let alone 5 years!
I know you love HALLMARK not surprised you worked there.
Oh my goodness that JAMES is a DOLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a cutie patooty James is. I love it when sweet photos pop up! We are watching a lot of Hallmark here, too. Especially since nothing new is coming on. I had to check my blog to see what we were doing 5 years ago, too. Take care...
Oh what a cutie!
Love your list of 5...
Oh, if only our lives could be like a Hallmark movie :) I like to watch those, too...
Debby, I had a treadmill for years, but hated using it because it was so boring. I much prefer walking outside in the fresh air (even though Ed killed a rattle snake in the yard, last week) I try to walk, at least 3 mornings a week, as long as my back is behaving.
Your grandson is so precious! You are blessed!

I barely drink alcohol nowadays, and definitely not when I have to work next day. But do like a glass of white port every now and then.
Was it fun to work in the Hallmark store? I always enjoyed to go browse through them when I'd see them in the mall.
Sweet little baby boy! He has grown so much. It is fun to look back at those days though. I had one of my boys in my FB memories today. They were both so little!
Sweet baby James!!! Love, Andrea xoxo
I love Hallmark movies And James' photo made me smile💖
