We went over to Adam and Gabby's last Saturday. It was 100 degrees in the shade! James' face was kept getting beet red. Gabby eventually put him back in the shower to cool off before he went to bed.
Kind of a funny story here. Adam was in the house and of course James followed him. They came out the door and Adam had a tiny ice cream cone for James to eat. Gabby said "no way!" What was Adam thinking? So he ended up in his high chair on the porch so we could watch him eat it.
Here's something funny. When eating the little drumsticks James always picks them up on the chocolate covered ice cream end. Of course this one ended up in a bowl.
While sitting outside at their house I noticed the sun coming through the clouds. We were thankful for the clouds. Anyway, the sun coming through the clouds always reminds me of Heaven.
Now this is really funny. We always bring a jacket in the car because it cools down. A few weeks ago Mark decided not to bring one. Well it cooled down and Gabby got him a blanket. There he is picking up the delivered food order from the front sidewalk.
Adam sent us a text message about the homeless people living in his front yard!!! LOL (Don't even ask me about Mark's Covid-19 hair and beard. I am not a fan)

I knew you sat in chairs for the visits but not the fact they are comfy chairs. i was thinking beach type chairs. Marks hair and beard are bob's look year round... bobs hair is tight curls though... James is so cute with his cone in a bowl...
what a perfect way to dine with your family and keep your distaance
A little boy eating an ice cream cone in 100 degree weather could be quite a mess...lol
Mark reminds me of Sandra's husband with the white hair and beard.
That set up is pretty much exactly like what we do, but our chairs aren't nice comfy ones like yours. I feel you on the hair and beard, my husband has done the same thing. He hasn't shaved or cut his hair since the fist day we started quarantine *sigh* Looks like they will both be able to easily play Santa this year!
Hopefully it will cool down so next week's get together won't be so hot. Too cute with James and the ice cream! That is funny about Mark with the blanket wrapped around him. I agree, the beard needs to go LOL! Have a great weekend Debby!
betty
I am thinking of those wonderful chairs you are sitting in too! No homeless people there! James is adorable - just so cute. Glad you are getting to 'see' him.
James is so cute! I'm always tempted to eat the chocolate covered part of the cone first too!
I so love this photo of the clouds and the sunbeams. It does look like a glimpse of Heaven! I'm stunned at Mark's resemblance to my cousin. Will have to find Terry's picture on FB and send you a DM.
I cut Andy's hair now...he doesn't mind how it looks as long as it doesn't bother his ears, and he says he likes me doing it as long it isn't too much trouble for me. I also cut my own hair, and wear a hat or hair covering when I go out. We both love involving ourselves in our projects and are happy when we don't have to go out. It's unusual, but it works for us.
