Welcome to Tuesday 4 in honor and memory of Toni Taddeo! This week let's talk about music and songs that you love.
MUSICAL INTERLUDE
1. Can you name songs that remind you of autumn, spring, winter or summer?
Questions like this make me draw a blank. "Baby It's Cold Outside" make me think of Winter.
2. Do you like background music when eating or shopping? Do you play background music at home?
I would have to say that background music doesn't bother me while eating or shopping as long as it's not too loud. No I don't play background music in the house very often anymore. I use to but this year is just different.
3. Christmas music begins playing some places as early as November just before Thanksgiving. Do you have a favorite Christmas song? If not, how about any seasonal song that you love?
I start playing after Thanksgiving. Sometimes I play a Christmas CD in my car during the year. I love Christmas music. I'm not going to pick a favorite because I love so many. I can't get enough Christmas music during the holidays.
4. Songs bring back memories. Would you share a song that triggers memories, good or bad, for you?
There was a song by Sergio Mendes called "Never Gonna To Let You Go" which came out in 1983. I was going through a divorce and I kept listening to it hoping he would come back to me. I would cry and cry.

I am sorry about your divorce. I love Christmas music too!
Most of the time I don't even hear background music. At one time I could but my hearing just isn't that great any more.
I do love Christmas music and I prefer the older ones.
I don't listen to to traditional Christmas music the only Christmas music I listen to is once in awhile when they do a new country song or a new Christmas song. I've never been a fan of Christmas music and I don't like background music for anything in the movies and restaurants and stores it drives me crazy
I loved your answers today, especially #3.
Sorry about your divorce, I went thru that once with my 1st husband,
but was lucky to fine the sweet man I am married to now.
I play Christmas music while I am decorating the inside of our home.
Have a great Tuesday my friend.
I read on someone's blog that they had started decorating for Christmas already. Something cheery for this weird year. I like it absolutely quiet at home but have to adjust to hubby liking sound on in the house now that he's retired. I think that's why I like the job I'm doing now because most of the time the office is really quiet. Have a great Tuesday Debby! How did the hair cut go?

1. Can you name songs that remind you of autumn, spring, winter or summer?
All Christmas songs remind me of winter. But right now I can't think of any that make me think of the other seasons.
2. Do you like background music when eating or shopping? Do you play background music at home? I don't mind it unless it is turned up so loud that I can't hear myself think. I usually have the tv on in the background at home but there are some days that I am really into cleaning so I turn on the music. However...when at work, I pretty much always have the radio on low so not to bother anyone else.
3. Christmas music begins playing some places as early as November just before Thanksgiving. Do you have a favorite Christmas song? If not, how about any seasonal song that you love? I will NOT do Christmas music myself until Thanksgiving day. I really don't have a fave Christmas song, I like a lot of them but I more of less turn to a fave singer singing a certain song.
4. Songs bring back memories. Would you share a song that triggers memories, good or bad, for you? The song that was written in memory of Paul Walker - See you Again. It reminds me of mom. Then the song by Buddy Jewell - Pour out the Rain, reminds me of my nephew.
I noticed as I was putting in my answers that some of mine and yours were alike.....
I happen to think that songs do bring back memories. Love the Christmas season. I guess I like music in the am when I get dressed. I even have it on now. I must be a noise junky.
#4... (((((((((((Debby)))))))))))). Love, Andrea xoxo
Songs can be powerful when we hear them and get those old memories back. Thank you for joining in!
Hi Debby,
Music is so powerful. I remember one night when Jeremy was very late in arriving home because of a storm. I put our wedding dance song on repeat as I waited for him. I was thankful as he pulled in.
During late night drives, having the right music can pull you along that night drive.. and a good cup of coffee too.

I love Christmas music too. I've always waited until the day after Thanksgiving to start playing it. Last year I was so anxious for Christmas I started listening before Thanksgiving. Enjoyed visiting with you today!
I love Baby It's Cold Outside!! So good! Loved your answers! Have a great week!

I love Christmas music and couldn't pick just one song...I do wait til after Thanksgiving to start listening to it. Have a good week!
Mostly now we listen to Christmas music only when we drive around Christmas Eve looking at the lights, and also Christmas morning. We did it a lot more when Kaitlin was little.
