Hi! Welcome to Tuesday 4 begun by Toni Taddeo and kept in memory of her. Lets discuss Kindness ....
Kind to All Creatures
Do you put up birds houses or have a bird feeder or bath?
No we do not.
The bible says your domesticated animals are to eat before you do since they cannot provide for themselves , what pets do you have and when do they eat?
We just lost our dog Skye on September 24th. She, along with all of our other dogs over the last 47 years were all on self feeding.
In case you are wondering, no, they never gobbled down their food. They would pick on it throughout the day. They were given the amount of food according to the daily feeding chart for the size of dog
Do you feed the birds in winter?
No we do not. (my husband doesn't approve of feeding birds in the yard) However the hummingbirds eat all day long on our flowers along with the bees.

We used to feed the birds. My husband loved to see them out there. I quit filling the feeders though because the squirrels get in them and clean them out. They're fun to watch but expensive to feed. I always feed Gibbs when I sit down for dinner but he usually always has a bowl of dry food out that he can nibble on if he gets hungry in between.
We had sunflowers growing in our garden and we collected the seeds from them that we will put out later on during the winter.
Miss Oswin gets her food in the morning, before I eat. Her wet food disappears within a few minutes, her dry food will last the day.
Until our new Dog bow came to live with us we have always said how are dogs at 3 in the afternoon all of their dry food was put out at that time and they ate all of it. But they did get tidbits of whatever we ate at all three meals. I breakfast they would get the bottom crust of a piece of toast a bite of egg and when we got big boy I gave him one egg every morning for breakfast. With Bo we put half of his dry food down when we eat breakfast and he eats that while we ate and he gets a spoon of pumpkin at breakfast. He gets the other half of his food at 3 that's the dry dog food so we divided in half.
We used to feed the birds in Prescott, haven't here though they do get the worms from the grass after it is watered :) I had heard of people feeding their dogs like you did with Skye, Debby. I would imagine Winslow would gobble it up all at one time and then be hungry the rest of the day :) We timed him and he ate his food in about a minute LOL :) He's still being fed 3 times a day.
We all do need lots of kindness these days so I like your meme on it!

I know you miss Skye.
We have both birdfeeders and birdhouses up. I love watching our birds.
It is so hard that first year when you have lost a furbaby. I am sure she was well loved.
We've two birdfeeders out front, but don't make further effort. Our girls enjoy their 'wet' meal at lunch (before us), but self-feed on the dry kibble throughout the day.
Feeding birds can get messy in a yard and can make for a lot of weeds but I still do it.
Its hard to lose a pet.
I want to do hummingbirds next year. ☺
I do not think I knew you lost Skye! I am so sorry. Susan is right, the first year was hard for us. Christmas was bad. We always did Santa Paws and it just wasn't the same without Mandy. You will be in my prayers. Pets are family. ((HUGS))!!! Loved your answers! Have a nice week!

One thing we can do is to be patient and kind when we're trying to resolve problems, Frustration just heightens the tensions a lot of people are experiencing.
We have a regular bird feeder and a hummingbird feeder on our porch. Our indoor cats love watching them through the window.
