Yesterday Mark and I celebrated our anniversary. We do not keep count since we were divorced, separated and remarried. The consistent thing is that it is June 24th! Sorry I couldn't resist this joke.....
I love him with all my heart....
On a totally different subject today my dad would have turned 98. Sometimes I still can't believe that he is gone. He had passed on April 2, 2020 shortly after the pandemic started. As you know I still don't have the closure I needed because we couldn't travel to Florida.
This is the last time I saw my dad in person which was in June of 2019 when I spent a few weeks visiting with him.
My sister and brother in law just moved into his place last week Thursday. They ended up buying it because they wanted to downsize. However moving from a lovely 4 bedroom home into a 1,000 sq ft home is something that seems impossible to me. They had all the rooms redone, new kitchen, appliances, flooring and bathrooms too. I can't wait to see it someday.

I remember you losing him and I know the pain of loss. But you could not get to him and so I am sure that make it all the more hard for you. I lost my dad back in 2013 and I still miss him so much! We were so close. Oh Happy Annivesary!!!!
Happy Anniversary to you and Mark and Happy birthday to your dad in heaven.
It must be hard not to get some closure over your father's death. I hope that now Covid restrictions are lifting, you will be able to take the trip and say goodbye properly.
And happy anniversary to you and Mark.
❤️ I hope you can visit dad’s house soon. Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, Debby! And, of course, gentle hugs. I like what someone said -- most of the year we're adults, but at Father's Day we're just very tall children.
Happy anniversary to you, and happy birthday to your dad and guardian angel. Hugs!
Happy Anniversary, Bob and i have 2 anniversaries most don't know about, one the day we moved in together, and 3 months later when we got married. your dad was still handsome at his age. he looks so good in this photo.
Happy anniversary to you and Mark, Debby, and happy birthday to your dad. Your dad was such a great man; I enjoyed getting to know him through your blogging about him. It was so neat you went and visited him yearly around his birthday and spend that much time with him. I hope you get to see the remodeled house. Have you seen any pictures of it? Which I know is different from seeing it in person.

Happy anniversary to you and Mark. Happy Heavenly birthday to your dad - he looked like a sweet man.
I want to downsize too!
Happy Anniversary to you both and Happy Birthday in heaven to your dad.
Hugs to you on this tender post. I still miss my Dad and it's been 35 years. Its bittersweet. I do hope you can go see your sister in his place to finally get more closer.

That card is so sweet. I’m sorry about your dad, but Happy Anniversary. ❤️
Awwwww.... Happy Anniversary to you & your hubby... and Happy Heavenly Birthday to your Dad... and how wonderful that your Dad's place is still occupied by those known to you and is being renovated. I don't think there's anything worse than seeing a parent's place going to a stranger who lets it "go to seed". ~Andrea xoxoxo
Happy Anniversary my dear friend.
Hugs and Love as you remember your Dad.
Prayers for your family and brother. You have so much going on Debby. I pray for you daily.
Love, Carla
