Welcome once again to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4... I am so happy you continue to participate and I know Toni would be as well. I miss our talks. We were very much alike and shared so many of the same interests. Actually I never met anyone like her before and I miss our talks so very much.
Let's talk about entertainment, okay?
1. Do you have an actor or actress whose movies you hate to miss?
Yes I do but I don't know where to start. I will say Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Diane Keaton, Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, Michael Douglas, Bradley Cooper, Mark Ruffalo, John Goodman, Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, Jack Nicholson, Paul Rudd, Sandra Bullock, Emma Stone, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, John Krasinski, Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Garner, Alec Baldwin, Robin Williams, and Michael Keaton to name a few.
2. Is there a movie or TV program you could watch over and over again?
Yes I have hundreds. Movies like that I have bought on DVD when they were available and now I have my favorites on VUDU.
Beside "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th St.", "White Christmas", "The Holiday", all three "Santa Clause" movies and "Elf" I have about 14 other Christmas movies that I watch every year.
Now if we go into regular movies I can't even begin to list the other 500 that are favorites and I will see them each year. Some more than once!
Since the pandemic started I've been recording Hallmark movies and watch a few each day.
3. Do you have a list of books or magazines you are hoping to read over the summer? Would you share it with us? Bonus: do you make a cuppa something or a snack when you read?
No I do not.
4. What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I don't listen to music regularly anymore unless I'm in my car and that doesn't happen very often. I like smooth jazz but we are fans of Steely Dan and Crosby, Still and Nash. I also like the soundtracks to several movies and musical like Rent.

I've always watched way more tv than movies and have been a bit of a law and order junkie.
Wade always had music turned on and it was always classic rock and roll. I hardly ever turn it on unless, like you, I'm in the car
Hi Debby: I'm a TV addict and like lots of movies.
Have a good week.

You do like your movies - so do I!
This is exactly what I watch during Christmas - we are kindred spirits:
"Beside "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th St.", "White Christmas", "The Holiday", all three "Santa Clause" movies and "Elf" I have about 14 other Christmas movies that I watch every year."
We are opposites on this one. TV is just background noise for me, and I find it hard to sit still through a movie.
I've been watching some free movies on Prime and YouTube at work. Nothing earth shattering or current, but a way to occupy time while at work if I get tired of listening to music or podcasts.
I remember when the kids were growing up we had a lot of Christmas movies so the month of December we would pop a big bowl of popcorn and watch a movie a night. Such fun! I think my favorite Christmas movie that is relatively current would be Elf :)

All but maybe four or five of your list of actors that you would never miss I love all of them but the one actor that's on there that I try to never miss is Denzel Washington. I never eat or drink while reading I prefer reading over watching movies or TV but I do like movies and a few TV shows Heidi from death I only listen to music in the car when I was younger I used to do housework to music but now I don't
I like the actors you mentioned!
I am a music freak and listen to it all the time, well most of the time (I just realized noting is playing here right this minute. No wonder the silence is so loud)
Have a great day Debby!
Great list of actors! Like Martha, I don't enjoy movies so much any more. If I had to get specific, I'd say Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep.
SOmething else. No matter their talent, if a 'star' speaks out about their political leanings and I disagree (usually the case), I just can't enjoy them anymore.
I wish I enjoyed movies, per se, but I just don't. I can't stay interested that long for most of them. Once in awhile I will, if the movie is of particular interest to me but that's rare. I don't know if it's that I have trouble sitting that long too. I'm usually an "up & down" kind of person... watch something for a bit and then go do something... then come back and watch something else for a bit and jump up again. I wish I was different! ~Andrea xoxoxo
I have a list of Christmas movies I enjoy watching too..I change them up year to year though. Hallmark movies are so good. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Hi Debby, you sound like a true movie buff. I'm glad you have so many good movies to keep you busy. Have a great week.
I have never seen Rent. I need to find the movie. I like to watch Hallmark too. Do you watch the When Calls the Heart series?
