Raymond Vlcek
9/27/1946 - 7/17/2021
My brother Raymond passed away early on Saturday morning the 17th. He lived in Milwaukee, WI and was very well know for directing plays in the local theaters. Since we have all lived far apart for the last 30 years we didn't see each other very often.
He lost his life to cancer which started on his face. He had two opportunities to have it removed but chose not to. We don't know why. It ended up traveling quickly throughout his body.
He was a very private person and didn't share much with us. He was gay man and I know that alone was a personal challenge in his life. I supported him and loved him deeply.
The last time I saw my brother was at my dad's 95th birthday in 2018. We did however communicate daily by text and email along with some phone calls.
This was in Milwaukee a number of years ago.
I believe this was a church book photo.
I know I was still in High School at the time.
This of course was back in the 50's!

this is a sweet memoriam for your brother and well written. I am so sorry and know your heart aches. He must have been a lot like my bob, about going to doctors and not having things done in a timely manner. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Oh Debby - I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace. You have a beautiful family there - was that your sister too? I guess you are the baby.
Hugs and prayers your way.
Oh Debby, I am so sorry to hear that your brother has passed. I know it was expected at this point, but still it hurts to lose a dear brother. My oldest brother passed away in 2019 from leukemia. He fought valiantly until the end, but when it was time to go he was ready. May God comfort you and give you peace knowing that your brother is no longer suffering. (((hugs))) to you today.
I am so sorry, Debby💕
I can only imagine the pain you're going through. I'm so sorry for your loss.
