1. Reading anything good lately? How about magazines? Do you buy any?
I get People Magazine and First For Women. I enjoy both of them. First For Women is filled with so much helpful information on nutrition and household tips which I really enjoy reading about.
2. Do you belong to any clubs, societies, or do you meet with friends regularly to chat?
I belong to a bowling league but we haven't bowled since March of 2020. We are supposed to start back up after Labor Day on Wednesday the 8th. I'm a bit leery about that. Not sure I want to wear a mask for 3 hours and the alley is not allowed to ask about vaccinations.
I recently meet with my friend Kendra from bowling. I have to say that I have many close friends who I meet through blogging and we email often.
3. Where are you from originally and if you moved why did you move?
I grew up in a suburb about 12 miles West of Downtown Chicago. My move to California had to do with getting back together with Mark after our divorce. I was 38 when I moved to California. I'll be 70 in October.
4. Do you like a good Western Movie? Who was your favorite movie/TV Cowboy?
I have enjoyed Western movies but mainly because my husband likes them so I have seen a lot of them. I liked Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood. I also liked The Hateful Eight which has a great cast.

Hi Debby, Bowling sounds like fun. I can't because of a shoulder neck problem. So I am still hoping we can meet someday. Maybe by the mall?
I haven't done much reading lately. I haven't bought a magazine in a really long time. There used to be several craft magazines that I liked but they no longer publish them.
I was born and raised in Erie, Pa and still live in Erie county although it's in a smaller town than where I grew up.
i like to read People but only in doctor offices. I have never been a magazine reader because my reading thing is fiction..my cousin had so many magazine subsprtions if i wanted to read one i could get it from her,
no clubs but i was going to TOPS until coivd. I love westerns and have seen ever western ever made from the 40's to the 80's. after tge 90's they forgot how to make a decent one. also watched every western tv show also. I loved Wagon Train. I still love cowboys and all things western
ps, the odd thing is the one cowboy i never loved was John Wayne. poor acting skills, but i did watch most of his movies, but not more than once
It seems a lot of people are saying Clint Eastwood.
Hi Debby:
I enjoyed your answers.
By The Way, I turned 74 last month.
Have a good Tuesday.

I miss the good times we spent in a bowling league (mid-70's). Few of us weren't any good, but what mattered was the camaraderie.
I've not heard of either movie, so I appreciate your including these links!
I liked reading People magazine at doctor offices :) I can't believe you turn 70 in October! You look much younger! Did you hear Clint Eastwood has coming out a new movie? Seems interesting!

I have often said that I'd like to try living in California. Hearing about many aspects of the state appeal to me. But alas, I probably won't even get there to visit. I know I couldn't live there, if my children and grandchildren weren't there too. They are my lifeblood and I need to live around my family. Stupid, I know. ~Andrea xoxoxoxo
I have gotten out of the habit of reading..I must get back to it..the computer has taken over me and I don't really like that. I used to be a magazine Junkie but they got so expensive and i hated just recycling them so I stopped.
I have mostly visited with friends via the internet but there are a few that I still get together with over "coffee"
I have lived all my life in California and moved to the central valley to be close to our older son. Better weather and a more comfortable home for us. I will be 78 in November..sometimes I really wonder how that happened...
Always loved Bonanza and Wagon Train and I cut my teeth on the Lone Ranger when we got our first black and white tv.
My son is a photographer and just did an event that he rubs shoulders with Clint Eastwood for the day. I was shocked at how small Clint really is and how old he looked. Son said he is 92 so I guess he has every right to look old. He was active, spry and very chatty with my son too.
Good questions today.
Sue
I agree with your magazine choices for sure! I also get them from time to time. I havent been bowling in a long time but I sure did enjoy it when I did.
Does a wine club count? We joined at the local winery because it's one of the few social outlets. But we passed on the last event because of the rise of the Delta variant.
Bowling would be so much fun, but our Covid rates have skyrocketed so just as I was bout ready to get out and get going again, I am back to my self imposed isolation or out only with a mask.
Your blowing club sounds like fun. I hope you can get back to it soon. Loved your answers! Have a great day!
