2. Tell us about a time in your life where it felt like you were figuratively riding a roller coaster.
Probably when I was divorced. You are suddenly a single parent with two young children getting them to daycare and myself to work each day. There was one point when they were going to 2 different day cares.
3. Favorite treat to eat at an amusement park or state fair?
That would be a Funnel Cake. I love them!
4. Are you easy to get along with? Elaborate.
I think I am easy to get along with but I am sure Mark would disagree with that. I like talking with people and listening to their problems. I have compassion in my heart and can relate to people so I love to help them if I can.
5. Something on your calendar to see-do-read-accomplish or just enjoy before month's end?
That's an easy one. We have carpet coming for 3 rooms on Friday. The buffet and hutch in the dining room must be emptied and that is a project that we started yesterday. Mark's office is already empty because he painted it last week.

I always loved roller coasters. I can't remember the last time I was on one but it was a long time ago.
I love roller coasters also but I almost laughed out loud when you mentioned the Tilt a Whirl. When I was about 7 or 8 it wsa the first "adult" ride I ever got to ride, and a Tilt a Whirl love affair began that day!
I like your random thought! What color of carpeting! Such a big project but always worth the final result! I am not fond of roller coasters. It will be interesting to see if James likes them as he gets older :)
betty
I love your meme.
Well I thought I knew a lot about you - but I never would have guessed you loved roller coasters!
♥
I remember riding the tilt-a-whirl! I used to love it, too!
New carpeting is something fun to look forward to. We have two rooms that could use new...
Judging from peoples answers about roller coasters either you love them or you hate them! :)
It's nice for those around you to be the beneficiaries of compassion. God bless!
I like your random.
What color did Mark paint his office?
I'm not a fan of roller coasters, but loved the Tilt-A-Whirl!
We desperately need new carpet -- but I the thought of having to move and unpack our own oversize pieces of furniture gives me a headache. Did you have to wait on carpet inventory? Our siding is on a 16-week delay.
Yay for you! New carpet.
Oh, definitely a roller coaster when you're suddenly a single parent. I was very fortunate, I had my parents and sisters helping me.
1. Monday, August 16th was National Roller Coaster Day. Are you a fan? Did you celebrate? Last place/time you rode a roller coaster?
I LOVE roller coasters. I did not however celebrate and I could have since the fair is in the next county but I did not. The last time I was on one was in 2015. Just not ever around one to ride. I was in the Gatlinburg in the mountains the last time.
2. Tell us about a time in your life where it felt like you were figuratively riding a roller coaster. haha...I am not sure I ever had a time in my life that did not feel like a roller coaster!!! haha..But like you, divorcing and raising kids was for sure one for me also.
3. Favorite treat to eat at an amusement park or state fair?
That would be a Funnel Cake, it has sugar!!! I liked the fried corn on a cob also.
4. Are you easy to get along with? Elaborate.
Yes, I am....UNTIL pushed, or used. I get hard to be around then. I am not always the most easy going when I am hurting badly. Those are the times I stay away from people
5. Something on your calendar to see-do-read-accomplish or just enjoy before month's end?
To finish my craft room. It is set up for me to get down there and do things but there is still a section that needs some help...

My random thought as I sit here in front of the tv is ....just how stupid can commericals get? Some of them are just totally dumb.
Oh I cannot ride anything that spins! Enjoy the refresh to your space. New carpet is so nice in giving a room a lift. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Yay! On new carpet! Enjoy!!
Oh I wish we could get new carpet..ours is just awful and worn...finances just won't allow it.
Love roller coasters It's been 3 or 4 years since I was on the one at Disneyland..miss it, what made it so special was the chance to go one it with my granddaughter.
Our finances always put me on a roller coaster of emotions.
Haven't been to a State Fair for a long time but I do love funnel cake and roasted corn on the cob with Mexican cheese.
I think sometimes I am too compliant trying to get along with all.
I had to laugh at the random thought from Pam...that sounds like the conversation between my husband and I last night...
Sue
I love funnel cakes. However, I have to stay away from them now that I have Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease.
Yes, I would have thought you to be a very caring and compassionate person. I'm sure your "Angels" ministry was so important to you and a way of helping someone hurting to know someone else cares. The new carpet will be fresh but the getting ready for it isn't easy. Have a great weekend.
😊
I hear you on divorce with kids being a rollercoaster! What a tumultuous time.
