Welcome to Tuesday 4, Toni Taddeo's once weekly questionnaire...
This week's topic is home....
1.What makes a house a home?
I like family pictures around the house. Furniture that you love along with furniture that has been passed down to us. Dinner time. I think a dog too and I pray I can get one soon.
2. How to you keep your house neat , tidy and clean? Do you find it difficult?
The house is usually in order, I try to keep it up each day. However, because of my COPD I cannot do what I used to do. Mark helps out when he can with some of the deeper cleaning projects.
I need a smaller house!
3. Are plants important in your home.. or collections.. or wall art? Is there a theme you like to create?
Yes, plants are important in my home and yes I have collections of Jim Shore and Willow Tree and I have a wall of canvas photos from trips.

For the most part, my house is neat but I don't do deep cleaning like I used to.
I think we are all the same - I keep things neat - but I don't deep clean like I used to either - just not that important.
I love your wall of canvas - that is so unique.

I hope you feel better soon, Debby. Hallmark movies are a wonderful diversion! ~Andrea xoxoxo
I think your house is probably a whole lot cleaner than my house. I know you clean by room sometimes and you clean all your collections that's the main reason I don't have any collections as I don't like to dust. I'm trying to think what makes a home a home. I think what makes a home a home to me is that it's always the same place I don't really care where it is or what city or state but I want a place that is mine that I can be in every night and in the same place. A place that I can have my rituals and my habits and keep them the same so I'm going to say habits and rituals in the same place every night make my home a home plus having the three of us in one spot and that includes of course the dog
I hope you feel better soon!
I am sorry you arent feeling well and I hope you feel better soon.
As I get older I find I can do less deep cleaning but I keep things picked up and neat.
I hope you start feeling better soon. My apartment is sometimes neat, sometimes not. It's my playpen so it depends on what I'm engaged in. It's a happy place.
Sure hope you get to feeling better. I'm usually sewing and hubby is watching Tv. I like your wall of pictures.
Love your photo wall, Debby! I didn't know you were thinking about getting another furbaby; that's exciting!
Feel better soon!
My husband also has COPD.
We share the inside household chores.

I enjoyed reading your answers, seems you have a pleasant routine with hubby. COPD does slow us down that's for sure. Hope you feel better soon.
I hope you feel much better quickly. Love reading you answers! I am looking forward to closing on Mom's house so I can finally concentrate on mine.
I think what makes a house a home is having things you love in it. Not magazine-perfect, but reminders of your family and experiences.
