This week the topic will be Books and Movies
1. Is there a hero or character on TV, in a book or a movie .. or even on all three, that you are especially like? What do you find attractive about them?
I am a fan of Spider-Man and all of the movies with the different men who played him. I am also a fan of Ant-Man. I also like the so called hero's (main character's) in the Twilight saga and Divergent.
2. Was there a book that was better in movie form? How about a movie you thought didn't live up to the book?
Honestly, I am usually the movies watcher not the reader of the book. I have however bought two books that I know of after I watch the movies. One would be "The Help" and the other was "The Bridges of Madison County."
3. When you choose a book, program or movie which subject it is most likely to be: science fiction, mystery, romance, comedy, documentary, etc.? What draws you to a particular book or movie?
I am truly a romance fan. There are so many movies that I adore in the so called Ron-Com movies. I am also a huge fan of all the Hallmark movies. The actors often draw me to a movie.
4. How important is the title or picture on the cover of a book? How much importance do you place on a movie because of the actors who are in it?
It's extremely important to me. I will obviously try new movies but I do have my favorite actor's who I will always watch.

When I watched Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café, I loved it. Then I read the book and loved that. I think they really complement each other.
I like several film styles, but Matt Damon would be someone I would go watch in a style I have never seen (not horror or thriller though). I loved the Martian and was so sorry I didn't get to see it in the cinema.
I don't know if the picture on the cover of a book has influenced me much but knowing a certain actor/actress is in a movie has.
I don't think I have ever watched a movie that came close to comparing to the book. I prefer book over movie, but love movies. actors do make a difference in which movies I watch. you already know, movies and books are all about action for me.. things that go boom and blow up and my favorite character is Jack Reacher.. they miscast him horribly in the movie.
You and I are so very much alike on so many things, Debby, except on the subject of romance books & movies. Those things make me gag, I swear!! *hahahahahaha* But I'm glad you enjoy them, my friend. ~Andrea XOXOXO
The Bridges of Madison County.. I did the same. ;-)
You know I can tell if I am going to like a Hallmark right away just knowing who the characters are!
I loved the movie the Help. I bought the book but haven't read it yet
