2. Who inspires you to be better. Tell us how.
I think my daughter and I inspire each other to be better. We both don't have great self esteem so we encourage each other to push ourselves harder.
My dad often inspired me on the phone when we used to talk everyday. He would listen to my problems and make me feel better about things.
3. Share a money saving tip with us.
Me, really? I don't believe I have any money saving tips for you. I do know that one place I shop at online, if you leave stuff in your cart they send you a discount coupon.
4. It's National Garlic Day...are you a fan? Your favorite dish that includes garlic?
I admit that I like garlic. I can't think of a favorite dish but I have always liked garlic bread!
5. Would you describe yourself as decisive or indecisive. Elaborate.
I think I'm a little of both.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We had a nice Easter Sunday with Adam, Gabby and James, along with other members of Gabby's family. We went to a brunch and then over to their house to hang out for awhile.
I have to laugh at this photo because I squatted down a little bit to take the photo and he squatted too!

What a cute picture of James.
I honestly can't think of anyone who inspires me to be better.
The only money saving tip I have is to not spend it...lol
I do like garlic. I think maybe my favorite dish with garlic in it is chicken gnocchi soup.
i love garlic and now is is off my diet. love it in just about anything. and don't eat onions. go figure. the squat pic is adorable, the squatter is so sweet.
I am with you on wishing I had exorcised before I got to old to do it right. back when t
he kids were growing up. I save money by shopping Walmart and not Publix and never shop in a convenience store. Box of peppermint tea at Walmart 3.79, Publix 5.19, same brand organic. went to publix for convenience sake and did not buy it. also, do not watch the home shopping channels. makes you buy things you don't need. shop with a list, shop once a week, not every day. shop thrift stores.
So cute how James was mimicking you with the squatting :) Great picture! I'm glad you had an enjoyable day with him and family! That is neat how you and Amber can encourage each other with the things you both struggle with. I know your dad was also a great encourager and motivator for you and how deeply he is missed. We use a lot of minced garlic in cooking these days and I too like garlic bread. I think the best money saving tip I have practiced before was to avoid trips to the grocery store for one or two items. Usually I would come out with a cartful of things I really didn't need. What was James Easter present? I don't remember if you mentioned it :)
betty
Sweet Baby James is growing like a weed, Debby... and what a cute story about his squatting down too. Darling!! And I wish your Daddy was still around for you to talk to. Mine also. :-( ~Andrea xoxo
I loved the photos of James - he is a doll.
If I went back in time - I would take the time to find myself first before I got married and had children.
I have a wonderful Christian friend for some 44 years and man - she is such a good role model.
Glad you had a wonderful Easter!
I love the picture of your grandson and the backstory!
If I went back in time I would be more tolerant of everything.
Such a cute picture ; ) So glad you had a nice day.
Yes, I think I would say exercise too. I think I could've been really good at some things if I was more confident. I always say if I had heard of crossfit when I was younger I'd really love it. Now I'm just afraid I'd throw my back out.
That's wonderful how you and Amber support one another. I think everyone needs someone who will build them up.
James with his Big Purple Box is too cute!
What a sweet picture of James!
Such a sweet story/response from James when you squatted down to take the photo! Love it. Glad you had a nice Easter.
Hi Debby,
I think that is great how your daughter and you encourage each other.
Hugs to James!!! Such a CUTIE!!!
Yes - exercise is so important - even more so as we get older ♥
I wish I had really kept up with knitting. It frustrated me so much that I just gave up.
Actually my older son inspires me a lot. His straight forward and wise way of approaching difficulties is an encouragement to me.
Don't get in over your head. Don't feel that credit cards are the answer to everything.
I really love garlic and use it often. Garlic chicken and of course garlic bread..ok, now I really want to nibble on some.
I have to say I am both..I do try to be decisive.
I'm so happy we have finally gotten some much needed rain and a great dumping of snow in the mountains just 2 hours from our home. That means more water in our snow pack and perhaps some relief from our drought.

I am so delighted to say while my SIL was here this w eek he found and corrected my problem with commenting. It was a change Apple made sometime during an update! So I am delighted to be able to reach out to you and say it was lovely to visit and get to tell you how much I enjoyed your post. It sounds like you had a lovely visit with family, too. I we had our daughter and her two girls who are adorable but have a way of wearing us out as well! God bless them! Now I know how Grandma felt after her brood of grands left after big holiday visits! And thank you, Debby for not giving up on me during my silent period! Have a lovely new week!
Blessings, Carolyn (Schotzy)!
Love a bargain and a coupon
I wish I'd protected my skin against the sun better when I was younger. Of course, I still don't do a great job with that!
