2. My mother made the best lasagna .
3. What machine or appliance in your home aggravates you the most? Why?
I was thinking that there isn't an appliance that aggravates me but with further thought I guess it's our double oven but only because sometimes it makes a funny noise while heating up.
4. What are three things that brighten up your day when they happen?
5. Thursday (May 12) is National Limerick Day...write a limerick about relating to spring weather, spring blooms, or a spring event (five lines, the first two lines rhyme with the fifth line, the third and fourth lines rhyme together)
I had a lovely Mother's Day. Amber called me in the morning and we talked for a long time. Usually we text each day but talking on the phone is really nice. I received a nice card and some money from her and Dylan.
Later in the day we went over to Adam and Gabby's. We brought all the fixings for dinner. We had Prime Rib, baked potatoes and a Caesar salad. We also made Rotel queso and chips when we got there. We decided on no dessert because it is just too much.

Those flowers are beautiful and the candy sounds delicious. Glad you had a nice mother's day.
:) sweet! Reminds me of my great-nephew.
your mothers day rocked for sure! gifts and visits and food. James is so sweet and cute and he is getting really tall. great limerick, you did super on that. I don't have an appliance that drive me crazy, but i do have a smart TV that does
Golly, James IS getting tall! It sounds like your Mother's Day was a delight .... Prime rib sounds amazing, and I'm happy you were feted in the manner you deserve!
What pretty flowers! You were truly showered with wonderful Mother Day gifts :) Glad it was a great day for you, Debby! I love the picture of you, Gabby, and James! James sure is getting tall indeed! Cute limerick too :) I think if I said an appliance that drives me crazy it is our dishwasher. We need to get a new one. It doesn't clean like it should.
betty
Love the pictures and you received such sweet gifts. So happy for you.
Awwwwwww Debby..... these pictures are absolutely wonderful. And that Sweet Baby James of yours could NOT be more precious if he tried. It sounds like you had a grand Mother's Day and I'm so glad. You deserved it, my friend! ~Andrea xoxo
Awww...sweet James. That face just begs to be smootched.
I have to say that I miss my Mom's pot roast and my Mother in law's roast beef with roasted potatoes and onions. Mine never turned out the same...yum.
I have 2 appliances that aggravate me..1- my dishwasher because it stopped rinsing and draining..yuck. It just sits there staring at me. Can't use it. 2- our built in microwave (an ancient creature that was in the house when we bought it.) Can't use it at all...Its so old that we can't find parts for it. Its attached (to our oven one on top of the other ) so it just sits there looking at me too.
Nice seeing photos of you and your family.
Sue
Your Mother's Day dinner sounds good. Looks like you were well celebrated! I know it's hard to have so much geographic distance between you and your daughter. I definitely understand that! I'm glad you had a nice call. I do think texting regularly makes us feel like we're more connected too, which helps. My girls will be here tomorrow. I can't wait!!
See's Nuts and Chews...I love them! Lucky you!
So glad you had such a nice Mother's Day! My mom also made good lasagna...whenever I had a baby and when I had my gallbladder surgery, she would stock up our freezer with her lasagna!
I knew James would be at the top of the list for you! I'm always happy to see a box of See's candy to enjoy. Glad you had a nice Mother's day!
James has gotten so much older looking.
See's candies are my favorites!
Looks like you had a great Mother's Day!
I love the three things you love everyday!
Looks like you had a wonderful mother's day there.
James is adorable.
How good to see your picture - you are beautiful.
Hey to let you know - Andy turned 21 in April - he graduated yesterday, has taken a job in Atlanta, and moved to an apartment a week ago in Atlanta - can you believe it - the end of an era. A lot of changes. PHEW.
Hi,
Oh, I just love your limerick. :-)
Well Done!!
Your Mother's Day sounded fabulous. Great gifts too!!
Love your photos. Lasagna is a favorite for sure.
Your mother's day sounds wonderful! My younger son and his girlfriend came over for lunch and brought me tomato plants and my older son called and talked to me for almost two hours, so I was a happy mom!
