1. What's something you've learned from a younger person?
I'm not sure I have an answer for this but I do know that I liked my younger self better.
2. Are you a perfectionist? Elaborate?
Not anymore but I used to be. I remember when the kids were younger and we lived in our house in Fontana, CA I would clean house from the time they went to school until they got home. I was pretty OCD at the time. Then things changed as my lungs changed.
3. What makes you cringe?
Things that are going on in our world right now. I have no problem with people coming into our country but what is happening right now at the boarder is unbelievable. There are evil people coming in along with drugs that are killing people.
4. September is National Honey month...do you have bees and make your own? Know someone who has bees and they share? Your favorite thing made with honey?
We have a lot of bees in the yard each day and I love the fact that they are there enjoying our plants. No we do not "have" bees to make our own honey. No I don't know anyone who has bees. I can't think of anything I make with honey but I know Mark uses it in a recipe.
5. Where is your happy place?
Do I need to say it??? My happy place is when I'm with James. This was Monday night.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Bowling started last Wednesday so it is a very busy day for me. I usually run errands afterwards so I'm pretty tired when I get home. I'm basically gone from 8 am to 3 pm. Most likely I will not be able to visit blogs until Thursday each week.
I had a video chat with a therapist recently and I also had one with a new psychiatrist. I will be trying a new medication and hopefully get going on the suggestions from the therapist. I feel these video chats are rather impersonal but that seems to be the only way they are handling them these days. I really want some one on one time with someone.

my youngest son taught me to open and close my hand at my cell phone to take a selfie without touching the phone. that's all I got on that. I never see young people so that makes it hard for them to teach me. I am sure any of them could teach me how to use the dang new tv
my happy place is my Beau and my computer.
I knew James would be your answer, what's not to feel happy about with that smile
I have to agree, I wouldn't care for the video chats. I like being in the same room as the doctor/therapist. It helps to catch facial expressions, etc. I do hope the new medicine works for you Debby and doesn't cause any side effects. So cute with James! I hope it is a good bowling season for you all. I know you'll welcome the time of getting together with friends!
betty
I enjoyed reading your answers Debby and I love the picture of James (he looks a little mischievous there and totally adorable! lol) and I love your sunset picture!
Chatting with a therapist via video chat does seem "not right" to me too, Debby. I mean, what's the point?! Isn't the "human contact" with a therapist kind of the main point?! I dunno... the world seems to be getting stranger & stranger.
That SweetBabyJames is absolutely gorgeous! I can see why he would be the entire definition of "your happy place". He would certainly be mine too.
Still praying for you, buddy~ Andrea XOXOXO
I don't know about being old or young again. Half and half, I guess.
I tend to be a little OCD myself.
I can see why James is your happy place! ☺
I had no idea therapy was not face to face - that shocks me.
I hope you feel better.
Keep pressing on and moving forward. Baby steps are still steps. James is so cute and I know brings you a lot of joy. Have a nice day!
I'm so glad you have James! ❤️
About the only thing I've learned from a younger person is that I just don't understand their way of thinking.
Perfectionist? I wouldn't say that but I do get a little OCD about things sometimes.
Hi Debby,
I'm so glad you can enjoy bowling. The picture of James made me laugh. Thanks for sharing.
Fun to learn more about you!
I enjoyed your answers this week. I'm really late to responding to everyone.
Hi Debby, where do you bowl at? My sister is a marriage and family counselor and sees most of her clients virtually. James is getting bigger each day! That is an awesome sunset picture!
Thank you for sharing James with us and that amazing sunset.
Keep pressing on Debby, I am praying for you. Love you!!
Carla
