1. Hello March! Is it coming in like a lion where you live? How do you feel when it rains?
It is definitely coming in like a lion. I don't mind the rain but we have been having rain for a few weeks now so it is getting to me. Bring me some sunshine!
2. What's something you'd like to do differently this week than the last? Explain.
Anything would be better than what I have done for a few weeks now. I'm still fighting this lung infection but I've also been extremely lazy. (more than usual) This is not the person I want to be. I will be trying a new antidepressant later this week so hopefully this one will do the trick.
3. March 1st is National Sunkist Citrus Day...do you drink orange juice? Orange, lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit...what's your favorite citrus fruit? A dish you love with a citrus fruit as one of it's key ingredients?
I am not big into citrus fruit but I do use real lemon in my water each day. I don't have a dish that I love. I do however like other fruits like mango, pears, kiwi and bananas.
4. What do you consider to be your culture. Elaborate.
I do not have an answer for this one.
5. Sum up your February in fifteen words or less.
Superbowl, rain, family, birthday's, appointments, bowling, shopping, eating and beautiful snow capped mountains.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We are finally going to celebrate Gabby's birthday. We were at their house on Superbowl Sunday but decided to celebrate it later. Her birthday falls on Valentine's Day. Then they went to a wedding in Palm Springs and Adam got Covid, along with other people at the wedding. So we didn't get to celebrate it yet but plan on doing so this Friday night.
Spent several hours at the hospital on Monday. Mark had a colonoscopy and a endoscopy. He had a miserable time the night before. Didn't sleep at all with the prep you have to do. We arrived at 6:30 am. He needed to be there by 7 for an 8 am appointment. Needless to say we ended up going to bed around 8:30 pm on Monday night. That's not like us. We usually stay up until 11 pm.
I have to admit, January and February have been 2 tough months and March is looking pretty busy right now with about 5 doctor's appointments for me and lab work to be done. Hopefully it will turn out to be a lamb!!

Like you I hope March will be better than January and February and I can tell you what February was with just one word HELL. February was pure hell. I can’t say what culture I am because I’m not sure what that means. I’m going to go out and look up culture and see exactly what it means. Hope everything calms downAnd you have a better Marge than the first two months of the year. Hope your health gets straightened out
Look up the word culture and still have no answer for what my culture is I don’t think I have one ha ha
Trusting your new med will give you a bit more get-up-and-go because I know you are ready to feel better and be more active. Hoping March will bring sunshine and green on those gorgeous mountaintops.
I hope March turns into your lamb. It’s definitely coming in like a lamb here in NC. We will probably be freezing on Easter Sunday. Lol
I love my lemonade-flavoring drops in water, but now you've prompted me to buy some real ones. Besides being delicious, they're so pretty to look at.
So sorry to hear of your health challenges. Mark and Adam, too! Crossing my fingers that Friday's birthday celebration will be the beginning of a turn for the better ... for all!
I hope March will be a better month for you in spite of the doctor's appointments. Enjoy the celebration this weekend.
The prep for those procedures is the absolute worst. I hope your hubs gets a good report. Enjoy celebrating your daughter-in-law this weekend! Take care and feel better. I think taking care of your health is definitely doing something and is not laziness, even if what you're doing is a lot of resting.
Hope after the prep Mark was okay.
Can't say much about February either except it was my birthday which was nice.
But I can't get my blog to email me my comments and I am so frustrated.
I did not know you had another lung infection and sick again, but not surprised with all your business and trips.
I sure hope you feel better soon.
It does sound like January and February were rough for you and yours all the way around. Ours wasn't that great, either, with getting Covid, although we are feeling much better now. May March be a better time for you and your husband!
It seems that the first 2 months of this year have been rough for many of us..The only way to go is UP !!
March is definitely a LION around here in Northern California.
All I can say is BURRRR
Hope you will feel so much better and get back your "Get up and Go"
Sue
I hope that March is a MUCH better month for you!!
March came in like a lamb here. It's very spring like with 61 degree temps. Of course it's going to drop back down again tomorrow.
I hope March will treat you well and that you and your husband are both feeling better and more energetic soon!
Hope your March calms down and your lungs improve. Glad you are still going to celebrate Gabby's birthday.
Good luck! I hope things get easier and more fun for you. ❤️
While you are hoping the rain will stop I would love to have a shower every day right now. Our great pollen dump has begun and a light rain regularly helps with allergies so much.
It is raining right now so I am going to open the house to get fresh air in before it stops and the pollen is back.
I hope March is a gentle month for you.
Happy Birthday to Gabby!
Sending hugs to Mark, goodness it is no fun all this health stuff.
I am praying for you Debby, each day that you will feel well. Please keep us updated.
Carla
I enjoyed your answers. I'm just now getting around to commenting from last weeks posts...didn't get to participate this week 3/9. I need to get in a habit of drinking lemon water daily.
