2. What's something about you today that the old you would find surprising?
I am not OCD about keeping the house clean.
3. Do you like to fish? Are you a fish eater? Favorite fish (to eat)? Favorite way to prepare fish?
I like salmon. I like to get it when we go out to eat. Otherwise I have some frozen salmon from Costco that I like. We love to take crushed avocados mixed with some salsa and put it on top when we eat it.
4. What's your biggest first world problem?
There are so many but for right now my focus would be on the very young children and the books that they want to have in the library for them. I do not think that very young children should be asked if they are a boy or girl. If it happens they will come into that at their own time.
5. What one word would you use to describe your year thus far?
Exhausting (way too busy)
6. Insert your own random thought here.

I love fish but I don't want to have to catch it myself. I also prefer not to have to cook it myself.
I totally agree with you on children asked if they are a boy or girl.
I love grouper best of all, hate to fish or cook fish. I want mine caught and cooked by someone else. the only salmon i have tasted it canned salmon made into salmon patties. James may grow up to be a comedian. i said to a friend recently, i have aged out of the OCD me that kept the house in perfect conditon. now I do surface cleaning every now and then.
That sounds like a good way to prepare fish! I am bad about making it even though I like it.
I agree 100% about what books are being pushed in front of little ones' faces. Ugh!
Because Tom's not fond of salmon, I've never tried making it. Now that you mention the avocado and salsa topping, all that may change!
I love those pictures of James! It's fun to see his personality shining through! Have a great day Debby!
Seeing James always makes me smile, Debby! I'm so glad we finally have a cleaning service as I've never been a big fan of housework, although I'm really good at keeping our home uncluttered. The satanic influences in our public schools just seems to get more intrusive. I hope parents will continue to speak their opposition and not be afraid to let their opinions be heard.
Blessings!
Hi Debby,
Thank you for sharing James with us. :-)
What a hoot he is!!
Thank you for the fun way to eat the salmon, I am going to try that.
Carla
Hard to tell what my earliest memory would be maybe getting bogged on the beach with dad in our VW Bettle when I was 3 or 4yrs old.
I do not like fishing or anything to do with it
Damn can't think of a first world problem that I have but I am sure there must be one.
Productive would be my word as I am getting stuff done this year around the house.
Random thought would be: Be beautiful inside, in your heart with the lasting charm of gentle and quiet spirit which is so precious to God..........
You have had a busy year with appointments. Hopefully, all will settle down for you soon. Your little grandson is cute - I enjoy that age, they have so much energy and are funny and silly. Cherish that age.
James is so cute. Does he like school?
I am not of a big fish eater - I love your idea of putting avocado and salsa on it. I am not a big fish eater either - but I am trying. I am making fish sticks tonight. Does that count? Probably not.
I totally agree with your first world problem. Can we just let them be kids?
We buy salmon from our local market but my daughter gets the Costco salmon and loves it. James is cute and isn't time moving fast? Grandkids make that feel especially true.
That sounds like a good topping for salmon. Fun photos of James. They do have their stages. :) Happy Wednesday to you.
I hope things ease up for you soon. ❤️
Love those photos of James - so cute and such a little personality! Have a great week!
Salmon isn't my favorite but I do like trout pan fried. I actually like to fish but haven't done it for years. My favorite seafoood is shrimp followed by crab..now I really want some.
Love your silly James. He's such a cutie.
Hope things can slow down a bit for you too.
Sue
I enjoyed your answers this week.
Love the photos!
I like Salmon as well, but it is so expensive fresh.
That first memory is awful! Brothers!
