WEDNESDAY HODGEPODGE

Click on the button and join in the fun!
Thank you Joyce.

1. What is something that bothers you if it's not done perfectly?
Not much lately, I've become a bit of a slacker. Okay I just remembered my Christmas tree, that's got to be it!

2. Do you think a 6th sense exists? Explain.
I do. I don't believe I have one but I do think there are people who can see/feel things that we don't see.

3. Do you say your goodbyes slowly, quickly, or not at all?
I have always said my goodbyes quickly and usually without tears.

4. On a scale of 1-10, with ten being hot hot hot, what level of spice do you like in your food? What's your favorite 'spicy' dish?
I think I am maybe a 6. I can't think of a favorite right now other then salsa.

5. What is one of your all time favorite commercial jingles?
"I am stuck on band-aid because band-aids stuck on you" This is the first thing that came to mind for me! My daughter likes to collect the band-aids with designs.

6. Plane, train, boat or auto...your preferred method of travel?
I prefer auto. I love road trips, they are a favorite of mine. I have never traveled by boat!

7. What is something you take for granted?
The free time I have. I should be out and about enjoying the world but I sit here all day blogging. I am a little upset with myself for letting this get the best of me. I need an intervention.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
I have to admit that I am looking forward to watching "Two and a Half Men" this season. I have watched since it premiered September 22, 2003. Actually I use to like Charlie Sheen in his role but as time went on it was the other characters on the show who I really enjoyed. Charlie was just a drunk womanizer on the show. S.h.o.c.k.e.r! I happen to be an Ashton Kutcher fan. What I have read so far, his name is Walden Schmidt and he's and internet billionaire with a broken heart. He apparently buys the house because Charlie passes away. That's all I know so far but I imagine he must have felt sorry for Alan (John Cryer)and decide not to kick him out of the house!

I use to watch Two and 1/2 as well, but both men are only after sex and that younger brother really needs to grow up! I may watch the first few shows to see how it plays out but not sure.

I like the band aid jingle too. Its clever. I liked 2 1/2 men initially but it got old fast. I do like Ashton Kutcher though : )

Two and half men sounds like it'll be interesting.

I love spicy salsa...and now I'll have the band-aid song in my head all day.

I'm looking forward to watching it too. I hope they do it right! I hate goodbyes. I want everyone to stay here with me!

Hi!
The band-aid commercials are really cute. Mine is the Coke-a-Cola commercials. Have a great day!

I like Road trips to.

I like the band-aid ones too.

I hate Goodbyes and I cry so easy.

I've never traveled by boat, either. Can't say that it sounds very appealing. Road trips are great, though--especially when there isn't too strict an agenda.

I'm interested in how the new 2 1/2 men will play out too. it should be fun.

i don't like spicy food at all - i'm like a 3ish.

and quick goodbyes are easier.

I am the same way about the Christmas tree. It's so bad that no one wants to help me, which suits me because then it's the way I want it the first time. :/

Kathy said...

I forgot about the Christmas tree! I'm very particular over mine, too. The only person I'd trust for help is my daughter-in-law, she's pickier than I am :)

I haven't watched 2 1/2 men in a while, but I want to see what it's like with Ashton on there. I like him. He may just make the show better :)

I don't like any spicy foods...not even pepper.

I get too antsy on long car trips...prefer to get there faster by plane.

Yes, my tree has to be perfect!

I believe we all (especially women) have a great deal of intuition. Problem is we don't trust it. But, I do not believe that people can talk to the dead and such. I believe that goes against the teachings of the Bible.

I loved the jingle from Coke..."I'd like to teach the world to sing...."

Very fun! Have a great day!

I think sixth senses exist too. I kinda think those mother's instincts, gut feelings, etc. fall under that.

Although I don't like Charlie Sheen's real life persona, I've always enjoyed his sense of humor, but I like Ashton too. It'll be interesting to see if he can keep that show going.

Thank you Joyce.

1. What is something that bothers you if it's not done perfectly?
My Quickbooks for work that drives me insane!!!!

2. Do you think a 6th sense exists? Explain.
I think children do to a certain age and for sure animals know without a doubt.

3. Do you say your goodbyes slowly, quickly, or not at all?
depends on who it is with my dad its so hard

4. On a scale of 1-10, with ten being hot hot hot, what level of spice do you like in your food? What's your favorite 'spicy' dish?
I would say a 5

5. What is one of your all time favorite commercial jingles?
"I love the new target one with the teacher playing the piano

6. Plane, train, boat or auto...your preferred method of travel?
neither, I wish we could do the Beam Me Up Scotty thing like on Star Trek

7. What is something you take for granted?
I CANT THINK OF ANYTHING AT THIS POINT

8. Insert your own random thought here.
II am sick of my jaw getting worse I have had 3 infections already, please pray, this has gone on way to long

I think I need an intervention also. I too, like Two and a half men. Their writers are clever.

Joanne said...

I tend to have long goodbyes, lots of tears and yes...the one last look over the shoulder....sniff sniff :O(
Blessings, Joanne

I'm surprised that you have never travelled by boat!
I don't like long goodbyes either, although I've never really had to say goodbye to someone very close who was leaving for a long time.

Michelle said...

Oh my..I don't like things too spicy.
I put 2 but tops would be 3.

The band-aid jingle is cute.
I put `Life Cereal: Mikey likes it!`

One of my favorite commercial jingles is the one about "my bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R...." That jingle can get so stuck in my head.

I feel the same way you do on a lot of this ;-)

Yes, I'll watch Two and a half again as long as Sheen is out..

Hot stuff? I'm a wimp..about a 2.5 or 3!

it's always fun getting to know you :-)

Amiee said...

I am very picky about my Christmas tree too! Everything has to be even, and the garland has to be hung just so. Ha!

Thanks for the info about the new show. I may just have to watch it :)

STILLMAGNOLIA said...

I may watch the show too this fall. Love those car trips. Loved your responses. Have a great week.

Mara said...

The thing that really bothers me is when my books are not in order in my bookcase: ie alphabetically! It's sad, but that's me!

I like two and a half men and when I heard Ashton Kutcher was taking over, I wondered how they would do that, but it sounds quite good.

Garden of Egan said...

I think Oscar Meyer is my jingle.

It was fun to read about you this way. Great questions.

I've joined the "Boycott Two and a Half Men" association. I agree that the plot has gotten a little old - about the only think I was enjoying was when Rose started the wedding scam. I was actually hoping the two of them would get together - she was just smart enough to keep Charlie in line. But this new plot - Charlies dead but his entire family is going to be part of the new guys life - doesn't work for me.

I should have said Christmas tree!!! I'm still waiting for you to have decorating classes :-)

Nichol said...

I have never watched Two and a Half Men and am glad I never have. I have a hard time saying goodbyes to close loved ones. It is never easy for me, and I love my foods spicy especially chicken wings!

Hi Debby!

I want to thank you for following me on NetworkedBlogs.
I really do appreciate it.

I really believe in a 6th sense....my mother has it and my sisters and I know when something is wrong with one another. Maybe it's the Holy Spirit, but it's there.

I love anything spicy!

Alexis AKA MOM said...

I so guessed the Tree. Your tree is a work of art it has to be perfect.

I think mom's have a 6th sense of sorts.

I think of Tum's and I believe it was a plumbing company a while back :)

They totally ruined the Band Aid song when they started singing "I am stuck on Band Aid brand..."! Oh, well. I'm very interested in how Ashton Kutcher does on the show, too. My husband and I have watched it since the beginning, and I started to not like the raunchier story lines. My husband thinks it's hysterical, though!

secret agent woman said...

Your answer made me realize I don't have a standard good-bye - guess it totally depends on how I feel about the person!

Oh a boat trip.... so much fun.

Did you know Barry Manilow wrote the Band Aid jingle?

L said...

I now have the band-aid jingle in my head!!! I have never seen 2 and a half men but may check it out now that Charlie isn't a part of it... WINNING!!! ;-) I do feel bad that he is the trainwreck that he is! Go out and enjoy life (and then come blog about it in the evenings!!) ;-)
Hugs-

I will definately ck out the first few episodes....I love the bandaid commercial too....but I think my favorite is the baby who talks about trading stocks...the one where he is in his crib and says apparently riding the dog like a horse if frowned upon in this establishment...cracks me up...

I love this list of wonderful questions and answers! I'm with you on the 2 1/2 men thingy. We are anxious to see the new season begin. We ♥ Ashton too.
hugs and smooches!
