1. No foolin'! April is here. What's one fun thing on your April calendar?
If all goes as planned, we are heading to Georgia for my great-nieces wedding. Obviously my sister, brother in law and the rest of their family will be there. I haven't seen any of them since the pandemic.
To make things even better, Adam, Gabby and James are going too. I get to show off James to everyone. Of course Gabby hasn't met them yet either so it should be a lot of fun.
2. It's often said, 'A fool and his money are soon parted'...what's the last thing you wasted money on?
I've wasted some money on a few dresses for the wedding. All of the tops that I wear are LuLaRoe. It started years ago when a women I bowled with started selling them.
Anyway, the sale was excellent and the free shipping was too good to pass up. Anyway, they are going to go to the Salvation Army so I still need to find something to wear to the wedding. I'll be heading to Macy's.
3. April 2nd is National DIY day. Are you a do-it yourself kind of person or maybe you're married to one? If so, what's the last thing you DIY-ed. If you're not a DIY-er what's the most recent job you had to hire someone to complete?
The only DIY I do is the housework, laundry and cooking. Mark is pretty good and doing everything there is to do outside. We do have someone mow our front lawn and we will call someone if we need a tree trimmed.
4. Do you eat lamb? If so do you have a favorite dish that calls for lamb?
I am pretty sure I have eaten lamb when I was younger but I've never made it.
5. Do you fit a stereotype in some way? Explain.
I haven't got a clue and I read all the I could online about what they are like. You tell me, am I one?
6. Insert your own random thought here.

I'm so excited for your upcoming trip! Will James be participating in the wedding ... a ring bearer, perhaps?
Like you, I can handle the housecleaning and occasional yard work, but beyond that we're all about having someone else do the heavy lifting.
Never worry about reading and commenting on other blogs. Just take care of yourself and keep sharing on yours. We love you.
Congrats to James and his parents for all his awards. Woohoo, hope you find the perfect dress for that wedding. Sounds like you are really looking forward to it. Happy April to you.
Wow! Congratulations to James! Love that shot of him on the soccer field. Don't worry about not reading as often as you'd like. Write when you can, I love reading your posts. Have a wonderful day!
James is growing up so fast now and cute as ever. Congratulations on his awards. I am glad you are all going to the wedding and James can meet his extended family. Take care of yourself.
No worries about getting around to read posts. Totally understandable. It's hard to keep up.
James is quite the athlete. Love that picture of him. Congratulations to him on his award
the family FOTO shows how tall James is getting and looks like he will catch dad in height and handsomeness. so you bought blouses and sent them to the thrift store? ha ha, I think you bought new dresses, and then donated older blouses. the only Lamb I have eaten is gyro sandwiches, I do love them but its been years since I ate them . congrats on all these awards James is winning and have a safe and fun trip to Georgia
Your upcoming trip sounds exciting. James will be a super star! I’ve bought dresses from Amazon, too. I get lucky sometimes. But usually not. lol good luck finding your dress!
That's an awesome soccer picture! I hope you have a wonderful time with family at the Georgia wedding. What part of Georgia? We're very near the northern part of the state.
I hope you have a wonderful time in Georgia and get to see everyone and reunite with old relatives.
Boy James is sure during good in school - isn't he? So cute.
Why don't you like those shirts anymore - what happened?
I do the inside work, and Rick gets the outside and the harder things - lol.
You get a hundred emails a day? WOW!
The only DIY I do is laundry, cookin and cleaning - right? You and me both. Too funny. I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip. It will be great to see family again!
I am so praying that you will be able to go to the wedding and "show-off" James. He deserves it and congratulations on his award. He's really a very special boy.
Don't worry about responding to comments. We are still there and loving what you post.
