So first of all I want everyone to know that my company over labor day was so much fun. We laughed allot, drank allot and we did go to the casino. We went through boxes of family photos from both sides and there is nothing like old photos. When I get my scanner I will get some of them posted. The Bohemian Houska was a big hit. We also had roast pork, dumplings and sauerkraut which is another Bohemian favorite. (I didn't cook)
My bowling league started today and it was so much fun getting back into the groove, or did I mean gutter. Anyhow I bowl with Headless Mom and we went out to lunch afterwards which was excellent and a great way to get caught up on our families. Thank you for lunch dear friend. She also gave me instructions today on how to link without showing all the http:// stuff. Look, I did it!!!! I also received some beautiful handkerchiefs from her mom with a beautiful note about my blogging. (THANK YOU SO MUCH)
So I had a few requests to show my decorations. I don't have much but I do like them. Someday when I have grandchildren I will definitely go all out!
This is a little street that Hallmark made a few years ago. It lights up and has a few sayings.
This is obviously a possessed photo of that very street!
This is Skye's favorite ball. She loves to lay on her back and put it between her paws. She then lifts it up above her and then back into her mouth. I think she is training for the circus!
So when Charlie is heading home Skye likes to take him for a walk around the house. Charlie would always oblige when she was a puppy. Now that she is pretty close to his size Charlie decided to fight back so they had a tug of war last night. Skye doesn't know this yet but he is coming to spend the night and I get to watch him all day tomorrow. She will be soooo happy! So much for the newly vacuumed carpets.
So on Saturday I went out in front of the house for a few minutes to talk to my husband who was doing some trimming and I guess she didn't like the fact that I left her in the house. So she left me a message!
Skye received the cutest duck from our company. We put it up shortly after she got it because she was starting to pull at the stitching. So today after bowling I thought I would let her play with it because she was in her kennel for six hours and I thought she would enjoy it. It quacks or I guess I should say that it use to quack! Yes we have a dead duck in the bedroom.

Lunch was fab...but not as great as the company!
Great pictures! We also just pulled out our fall decorations. I am also jealous that you are in a bowling league. I really miss bowling as I used to bowl constantly. I should check into bowling again. I know the winter leagues just started again. Poor Duck! lol
oh that poor duck~!!
So glad you had fun with your company! I must say that poor duck - he is just fluff now!
I can hardly wait for fall. I am getting ready to decorate too. I love all the warm colors and the fun Halloween things.
That is great that you learned to link. When I did my blogging class last week that was one thing that is on the top of everyone's list to know. It is fun to learn new things :D
OH that Skye and Charlie... they sure are cuties. I bet you have a hard time scolding that face when messes occur... I would.... I love the decorations....
You're in a bowling league? How cool!
When our dogs tear apart a new toy like that (which they always do) we call it a squeaker-ectomy.
Poor dead duck! :(
Love the "spooky house" too cute.
Ha! That's what Abby does to all of her stuffed toys, especially the ones with squeakers!
i love your hallmark halloween street! i think it's safe to say sky doesn't like ducks, either that or stuffed animals!
Poor ducky...
I love all your cute Mickey pumpkin candles and the minatures you have are priceless. We just began putting all of our decorations up and I realize I want to do more fall, less Halloween so we can keep them up for a lot longer.
The duck died a quick death by the looks of it.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Love the decorations! The dog is just too cute~
Love your fireplace!! I always change mine up at Chistmas but never think to do it for Halloween!
On a different note, have you have seen that Dog trainer Caesar? I think he trained Oprahs dogs and now has his own show. He ould LOVE that you understood your dog was sending you a message. Wonder what my dog is saying when she eats out of the garbage? I think it's that she loves my cooking!
Farewell to the duck!! And Skye sure did show some displeasure in you leaving! lol
Poor ducky! Love your fireplace.

I'm so glad you had so much fun! And I'm loving the decorations, I so need to pull out mine!
Glad you got to go out, but OMG that poor duck! She sure knows how to show you that she's made you left her. Too cute, this looks like something my boys would do, wait I think they may have ... LOL
My Logan does that to all his stuffed toys too, he just wants to get the sound out of it.
You decorations are cute. I go cheap deco style - stickers on windows and fake webs.
Our dogs favorite thing to do to a new toy is chew a hole in it and then pull all the stuffing out to get to the squeaker and pull that out!
Too funny.
